Washburn Candy Old Fashioned Hard Candy Canister 15.5 oz Holiday Gift and Treat

Only two pieces for the grandkids.

My brother always gets these hard candy sweets as a part of the Christmas time activities. He and my dad used to share them along with other home made hard candy batches my mother used to make when she was able. It brings back a lot of fond memories of the Christmas season. I don't even need to put a bow on top any more, it is just a tradition of sweetness.

If you're looking to recapture the nostalgia of the candy in the crystal dish you got at your grandma's house, this is it. The fruit flavors are delicious and strong. The mint flavors are mild. My husband finished off the first canister then asked me to get more.

These are wonderful but mine are melted into a clump and you need to pry off pieces. Still tastes great but the can I received isn't suitable for a candy dish because of the poor condition. I would absolutely order again though and hope for a better can. I love these and hope Walmart will continue to sell them.

sorry, but i hardly call a cardboard tube a "canister." last time i got something similar it was a metal canister. strike one. strike 2 is the back of candy inside barely filled the "canister" halfway. what a crock... strike 3 none of the candies are filled, an earmark of old fashioned candy. 2 stars because it does actually taste ok. it's just not the of fashioned hard candy your Gramma had in a candy jar on the table. not even close.

My package came crushed and bent

Just opened them and they are one glob all stuck together. Too late to return.

I didn't receive this in my pick up.

Candy is very sticky, appears to be old. Candy has no real taste, not sweet. When I received the candy there was one price listed on the container, but I was charged and paid three times what was listed on can. I have asked for a refund of the difference that I paid. To. date I have not received a response. I do not recommend this product.

So disappointed that this is not the candy of the past. Where is the spicy clove flavor each piece of candy used to have? This candy is LESS THAN BASIC! I am truly mad at myself for wasting my money. Is it too much to expect the traditions of the past? This particular candy was my Holiday staple/must have. I will NEVER buy again and would not recommend to others who are expecting the former flavors.
