Washburn Candy Old Fashioned Hard Candy Canister 15.5 oz Holiday Gift and Treat

Only two pieces for the grandkids.

Washburn Old Fashioned Hard Candy reminds me of my dad's favorite hard tack candy when I was very young. My mom always bought it during the Christmas Season, especially for him and his childhood memories. I enjoy it even more now than I did back then for the nostalgic tin/canister as well as the familiar candy inside. It brings back precious childhood memories of a long time ago. Great flavors, very few, if any, broken pieces. Now my daughter loves it for the same reasons I did when I was a child.

My brother always gets these hard candy sweets as a part of the Christmas time activities. He and my dad used to share them along with other home made hard candy batches my mother used to make when she was able. It brings back a lot of fond memories of the Christmas season. I don't even need to put a bow on top any more, it is just a tradition of sweetness.

These are wonderful but mine are melted into a clump and you need to pry off pieces. Still tastes great but the can I received isn't suitable for a candy dish because of the poor condition. I would absolutely order again though and hope for a better can. I love these and hope Walmart will continue to sell them.

This is not Old Fashioned Christmas Candy. The raspberries have no filling, also some are grape, even purple. No ribbon candy. Only one flavor of the oblong shapes, and only two flavors of the squared. No image candy/cut rock candy. It's okay holiday themed hard candy, but not Old Fashioned.

This candy is not like the candy i ate as a child during Christmas time and on thru the New Year until my grandma had no more. This candy has little taste in the peppermint and green stripe balls and all other pieces are stuck together and hard to get apart. I bought one for a friend as well but told her it wasn't what we had talked about. So I am disappointed.

My package came crushed and bent

Just opened them and they are one glob all stuck together. Too late to return.

I didn't receive this in my pick up.

So disappointed that this is not the candy of the past. Where is the spicy clove flavor each piece of candy used to have? This candy is LESS THAN BASIC! I am truly mad at myself for wasting my money. Is it too much to expect the traditions of the past? This particular candy was my Holiday staple/must have. I will NEVER buy again and would not recommend to others who are expecting the former flavors.
