SAMSUNG HAF-CIN Refrigerator Water Filter DA-29-000020B (HAF-CINS/EXP)

Walmart is the cheapest place to buy the original Samsung HAF-CIN Refrigerator water filters for my specific refrigerator model Samsung RF263BEAESR/AA. My refrigerator alarms to remind me that I need to change my water filter every 6 months. I prefer to buy these filters from Walmart compared to Home Depot, Lowe's, or Amazon because I can order them on Walmart's app and pick up curbside. Or if I'm not already out and about, I'll just order it online for free delivery to my house which usually arrives same day within a few hours of ordering. I don't pay for a Walmart subscription. Since it costs more than $35, it's free delivery. Walmart just makes it so convenient for me, that it's a no brainer to buy from them.

Works great with my Samsung fridge. Water tastes good, much easier then buying filtered water.

Pricey, but still less than the big box hardware stores that you normally find this in. These filters are just crazy expensive, BUT, I bought the store brands at the hardware stores and they don't fit and don't work. Nothing like the real brand to actually work. Tip, spend the few extra bucks and get the branded filter so your kitchen doesn't get soaked like mine did with a store brand.

Not the exact replacement filter but definitely fits and is working after inserting today. I did not give 5 stars due to delivery, not the product. FedEx missed delivery date by a full day; delivery on site and original tracking stated 7/16 but arrived today 7/17.

the filter was hard to get in and turn to the lock position and water leaked out terribly.

I bought a 'SAMSUNG HAF-CIN Refrigerator Water Filter DA-29-000020B (HAF-CINS/EXP)' via Walmart which was sold by a 3rd party. The filter I received was counterfeit. Samsung provides a website with details on how to check here: https://www.samsung.com/ie/support/newsalert/128595/. I checked the serial number on the item received and it was on this list. Do not buy here - better yet, just buy from samsung as this is a common issue. They look completely legitimate but are counterfeit.

This filter is a poor fit with a plastic/chemical taste. We flushed it numerous times with no improvement. It arrived in the blue and white box as previous Samsung filters. The newer version from Samsung arrives in a brown box with a QR code for verification.We returned it and the newer version in the brown box was perfect.

I ordered the QIN model to fit my refrigerator. Since it was out of stock, Walmart decided to send me this CIN model without thought. It matters! disappointed but ultimately returned for the correct model.
