My nephew love this set.

You really get a lot for a little with this set. I'm not sure how well these pencils will accept sharpening and that will be the ultimate test. If the leads fall out every time you sharpen them, this will be worthless. But if that happens, I will update this review. But for initial impressions, this is a really nice set for the money. (32$)

This 53 piece artist kit is great and keeps things organized. My daughter is a little artist and has been wanting a kit like this for a while now. I'm glad I picked this one, as it seems to have a little bit of everything all in one zippered binder. She likes that it's easy to tote along and I like that there isn't a big mess all over the house. Everything has a place in the binder so bo more pencils and pens scattered around. Everything looks and feels to be good quality, and works great. I would definitely recommend this set if your looking for a gift or even if your looking for yourself. It's very nice and convenient as well.

I love this kit! I started with the cheap products and I could immediately notice the difference. I've not tried the real expensive stuff but for my level of drawing, intermediate, this works wonderfully. I also love the library online! Will be great for someone who wants to start drawing and doesnt quite know what to buy.

I ordered this for the Holiday Toy Drive as a gift for the older kids. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. I've ordered others that arrived destroyed because the packaging was lame. This came in a nice sturdy box. Love the zippered case and all the tools inside. Very pleased!

I really like this set. It's got different things for a new artist to try, so they can see what they like best. The items aren't the highest quality, but you don't want to give a beginner the best tools right off, what if they end up not using it? I think I liked this so well because even though it does cost a little more than your average starter kit, I love that it comes with online access to a library of books on artistic techniques and styles. To get these books in addition to the set makes it worth the cost. If you were to buy these books in addition to a set, it would normally cost quite a bit more. I know some people have complained it's not a good deal because the materials aren't the best quality, but it really is, just for access to the online library. I'm really glad I got it, and I would recommend this as a great gift for a beginning artist. I would have no problem giving this to my nephew to learn drawing skills.

arrived on time and in one piece. all the items work as intended, maybe its my inexperience but are oil pastels supposed to be like hard crayons?

We we're really excited about this purchase at first. Unfortunately, the ebook library access & how to support mentioned was too confusing & stressful. I ended up buying my son a fire tablet & getting drawing ebooks. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner.

It came in undamaged and neat. The package is simple yet good. They put in sometime for it. So far no issues with the color pencils easily breaking or hard to sharpen. I haven't used everything in it yet. But, the graphite pencils are great. I'm a beginner so this is good for me. The carrying case is convenient. I can go and sketch anywhere.

The art pad is too small. I couldn't use this.
