Roses take time and care
Young shrubs like this have few leaves and no blooms. That is something that you hope happens. It arrived close to the due date. It has sturdy roots and very thorough instructions for planting. I have it planted and I monitor it just about every day. Plants go through a period of shock and will eventually adapt to the new environment. I am watching and hoping that more leaves will start to sprout. We'll see. It will be a beautiful plant eventually.

There were no leaves or blooms, but it is starting to put out leaves now

Sweet beauty
In just a few short weeks I had my first blooms and it's been blooming with more flowers on each cluster since.

It comes as a root I transferred it to a pot and will be planting it when this heat wave is over but it is doing great!!
