I purchased the Waterdrop Inline Water Filter for use in my RV after getting fed up with a more popular brand that repeatedly leaked right out of the box. Installation of the Waterdrop filter was a breeze. Everything connected smoothly with a standard hose, and it was up and running in minutes without the need for any tools or extra sealant. Most importantly, the unit hasn't leaked once since I installed it about a week ago, which is already a major improvement over my previous experience. The water quality is noticeably better. It tastes cleaner, with a significant reduction in that typical “tap water” chlorine taste and odor. I didn't run lab tests, but from a day-to-day use perspective; drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, it's a clear upgrade. I was also relieved to find that water pressure was not adversely affected at all. Flow has remained consistent, with no detectable drop-off since adding the filter to the line. In short, the Waterdrop Inline Water Filter has proven to be a reliable, no-fuss option that performs as advertised. It's held up well so far, and it's restored my confidence in simple, in-line RV filtration. The filter works well. However, you should run some qater through it first. It cleara out any charcoal dust.
