I have had some experiences with gum, disease and utilizing the water. Pick water floss has helped to reverse my condition, which is now stable. This device, along with regular brushing, and dental appointments, have really made a difference regarding my Dental Care.
i recently got braces and this is my first time using a water pick it's good for in between the teeth cleaning for braces charging is simple and easy the cord isn't too long so it doesn't take up any space, and it gets all the food in between the brackets good quality!
So far I am pleased with using this product. My only comment is that the water reservoir glass is such a dark blue it's hard to see when it is full until the water starts overflowing from it. A lighter colored plastic would be better. Other than that, so far so good.
This product is all I expected! It's so easy to use because it cordless. You don't have to worry about changing batteries, bc it's rechargeable. I have to refill it about 2 times, but that doesn't bother me... I mean I'm already at the sink, all I have to do is flick back the coves and fill the container. There are two different heads that give you different water pressure. LOVE IT! GREAT PRICE!!
Sure, it doesn't hold more than 30 seconds worth of water, but if that means I don't have to have the bulky setup of the more expensive model I really don't mind, besides, it's only a quarter of the price. It only takes 1-2 seconds to fill up the water reservoir so it's really not as tedious as other people are writing. Make sure to follow the care and use instructions and it'll handle like a breeze. I'm thinking about buying more tips because now my whole family wants to use it!
Easier to use and store than the corded model. No fiddling with a tube between the tank/motor and the mouth tip. Have to recharge every week or two. No light to indicate when charge is complete. Takes about two reservoir fills to irrigate all gums and pockets.
I've had three of this version over the years. The first was dependable and lasted ten years. I swore by it, and my dentist was pleased. The second was weak, needed daily charging and stopped accepting a charge altogether after two years. So far, the third unit is forceful and strong; I hope it lasts as long as the first one. But what was the story with #2? Would the company be willing to give me some future credit toward a strong #4?
The waterpik does not fit in my sink to add water. This makes it difficult to fill. Also on the box the waterpik is pictured as being a black color, but it is actually blue.
I bought the pik thinking it had a rechargeable battery. The fluid holder compartment is too small. If I had to do it all over again I would have chosen a different product.
After about 3 weeks of using it, it just wouldn't run as fast as it did in the beginning. I really liked it and was so disappointed when it stopped working properly. I would like to return it!
