One of my granddaughters loves the game, but her board and pieces are too small for my hands which suffer from occasional bouts of arthritis. This wood board with check slots at each end and larger pieces make it easier for me to play.

As described. Overall I'm happy with the product- would have given 5 stars but the pieces are a little less quality than the actual board. Not a deal breaker just wished the quality of the pieces matched the quality of the board. The cut out for the pieces are an awesome addition!

BOARD IS SOLID BUT THE CHECKERS ARE TOO SMALL AND THE DON'T LOCK TOGETHER WHEN YOU KING THEM

Not what I expected because the chips are not made with the King Crown on them and the star on the opposite side, and are very tiny. The chips are just plain. When I need to be crowned with a chip on top I like to yell "Crown Me", but with no crown on the chip just takes away the winning spirit. Also the board is pretty heavy to load around, but I do like the design of it and especially with the section that hold the chips. I'm still thinking about returning it.
