Horrible Couple Extra Horrible Edition

Very funny and definitely naughty. Instructions are clear and quick to understand. If you like cards against humanity- this is definitely a good game geared more for couples. Do not get if modest or easily embarrassed

This game is chock full of adult and dark humor! We really liked the design of many of the cards: the art for the "AWKWARDDDD" bear was hilarious just by itself (it'd make a good sticker!)The rules for this game are standard for what you would expect from a party game: very simple and straightforward. One thing we liked was the inclusion of the 2 player mode, which is rare for party games. We did find it to be a little hit or miss when the 2 cards drawn were better than the original 5 options, but I guess that's just the luck of the draw! It was better than nothing and nice to be able to play with just 2 people.A note: this game is very adult themed. I think I'll probably stick to Horrible Therapist in the future, but the adult theme will be a smash hit for some play groups! If you want dark, raunchy, explicit humor, than this game could easily be a 5-star for your playgroup.

It's a comic strip take on Cards Against Humanity that feels fresh and creative. We played the two person version, which is more collaborative, and we were cracking up! It's definitely NSFW. I can hardly believe how many creative and hilarious cards there are. You can play for a long time with new delights to look forward to.

It seems like every game that comes out now is this style - person whose turn it is chooses a card, and thus a player, to win that round. This one is a little different in that the person who is on turn also gets to participate more actively by choosing the response card. That was definitely cool. My friends and I had a lot of fun playing this and we'll definitely play it again.Only thing we didn't like was that some of the cards seemed a little too serious - you could accidentally end up with a serious cartoon, which is definitely not the point. No big deal, but unideal.The box is well labeled - there is plenty of explicit content, so don't play with your kids. Or teenagers.

This game can be a lot of fun...with the right crowd! It's not really a family night game (and isn't marketed to be one). In the right setting, this is hilarious. The cards are suggestive and you have the opportunity to go for a bawdy laugh with every round. Although similar in structure to other games (including Horrible Therapist), this one feels more fun -- romance and conflict and passive aggressive responses are something we can all relate to! So far, the replayability level seems good -- especially if your playgroup keeps changing, but I don't see playing this for more than 20-30 minutes at a time.

My wife and I played the two player cooperative mode of this game. It's nice to not NEED a large group to play a game. Sometimes you just need each other. Very funny and creative gameplay mechanic - love how silly the comics can turn out. If you like CAH style games, this will scratch that itch.

We love party games with our friends and at social gatherings. However, everyone is pretty busy and being together doesn't happen as often as it used to. This party game has co-op and can be played with just the two of us!!! We get to enjoy the laughs, the adult humor, and all the jokes without waiting for a group gathering. We love this game. It's been fun to laugh like we're teenagers again. The card art is simultaneously cute and sometimes disturbing 😂

I love games that allow for two person play considering everyone is so busy! My6 husband and I had some really good laughs with this. One thing I do wish is, being able to choose 2 response cards because part of the time, they made zero sense and it was more confusion than funny wild. When we got a good one though, it was really fun! We kept saying we would quit after this one but ended up playing for longer than either of us had expected. We are determine to get a streak of 2 or more because our marriage depends on it! ;)

If you like Cards Against Humanity you'll like this game. If you own Cards Against Humanity you may or may not want to buy this game. It's essentially the same thing but with an extra step. It is a nice improvement on the basic premise in that the dealer gets to choose a card instead of merely reading the ones given to him. That helps keep the momentum. Is it fun? Sure, but so is Cards Against Humanity. Would I play it again? Probably, if someone else wanted to.

Just didn't do it for me. In two player mode the couple wins as a group. If during one turn your partner guesses incorrectly, your group score is reset to zero. There is no final “winning” score. This is entirely left to guessing. Just a guessing game. The responses and compromises are so generic it is difficult to guess. the person playing the turn draws and shows a question (character 1) and draws 3 and shows one response, (character 2) which seems unrealistic.Your partner then picks the compromise out of his hand of 5 options, which is then character 1s reply to the response from character 2. This response is then shuffled blindly, and the person playing the turn guesses which one out of three compromise cards was picked by their partner. Additionally, if any of the compromise cards are damaged or marked, it permanently becomes trash as it becomes very easy for the guesser to distinguish this.
