Horrible Couple Extra Horrible Edition

It seems like every game that comes out now is this style - person whose turn it is chooses a card, and thus a player, to win that round. This one is a little different in that the person who is on turn also gets to participate more actively by choosing the response card. That was definitely cool. My friends and I had a lot of fun playing this and we'll definitely play it again.Only thing we didn't like was that some of the cards seemed a little too serious - you could accidentally end up with a serious cartoon, which is definitely not the point. No big deal, but unideal.The box is well labeled - there is plenty of explicit content, so don't play with your kids. Or teenagers.

My husband would like me to start with his comment: “excellent packaging, as always”.Anyway, this game easily gets 5 stars! We loved that there was a 2-player option (which we now call the date night version) or a group one for game nights. It's perfect for our very dry senses of humor or had us full on laughing out loud. It sounds like the group addition is similar to Cards Against Humanity, in that you pick the funniest card for the round, but having it as part of a comic strip makes it even better. We would absolutely recommend this game to anyone (as long as they don't get offended by butt hole references and such) and can't wait to play it at our next game night with our friends!

It's a comic strip take on Cards Against Humanity that feels fresh and creative. We played the two person version, which is more collaborative, and we were cracking up! It's definitely NSFW. I can hardly believe how many creative and hilarious cards there are. You can play for a long time with new delights to look forward to.

My wife and I played the two player cooperative mode of this game. It's nice to not NEED a large group to play a game. Sometimes you just need each other. Very funny and creative gameplay mechanic - love how silly the comics can turn out. If you like CAH style games, this will scratch that itch.

The game is enjoyable in the 2 player mode. As always, it's best to watch the directions instead of reading them! It took a couple rounds to fully understand the mechanics but overall it's a quick learn. We laughed and thoroughly enjoyed the amazing art. We have horrible therapist so this game plays very similar if not identical to it. Knocked it out of the park yet again! Look forward to expansions (wink wink)

Horrible Couple is really fun and easy to play. Heck, we had fun just looking at the artwork from The Oatmeal on all the cards! This game was a nice change from what we usually play when we get together with friends and much laughter and fun was had by all. Highly recommend!

Like most exploding kittens games, the artwork is wonderful, quality cards, and the game is easy to pick up. Also similar to some other NSFW expansion packs for the games (thinking bears vs babies), some of the cards are definitely better for adult groups to laugh about. There are plenty of cards so the game doesn't get repetitive in groups. Haven't tried playing as just a pair yet but looking forward to it.

I love games that allow for two person play considering everyone is so busy! My6 husband and I had some really good laughs with this. One thing I do wish is, being able to choose 2 response cards because part of the time, they made zero sense and it was more confusion than funny wild. When we got a good one though, it was really fun! We kept saying we would quit after this one but ended up playing for longer than either of us had expected. We are determine to get a streak of 2 or more because our marriage depends on it! ;)

This is a great game for a date night for 2 people, but I think it is best suited for more! When it comes to this game, it can certainly be a luck of the cards scenario, but overall it is a fun card game suited for those with a more mature sense of humor! With as many cards and a quick play style, I can see the repeatability of this game being high!

Horrible couple is a fun game that tailors the “Horrible therapist” game towards a, in my opinion, more relatable manner. The game is a ton of fun; creating fun scenarios and silly instances that some of us can relate to made us laugh all night and want to keep playing. If you're a fan of similar style games, this is a “must get “ to add to your collection!
