Really Loud Librarians Party Game from Exploding Kittens Brand

This game was a lot of fun. My whole family enjoyed it and picked up on it very quickly.

We had 10 of us play Really Loud Librarians, a mix of adults and kids. We had 5 members on Team Gertrude and 5 on Team Wilfred. We turned over a card and it gave us a category and then we had 60 seconds to yell out words that started with one of 3 letters that fit that category. We could move on to the next 3 letters and then the next three letters ... until the 60 seconds were up. Unfortunately, Team Gertrude got all the tough categories like words with a Q in them while Team Wilfred got simpler categories like things found in a bedroom. Needless to say, Team Wilfred handily won. We enjoyed it and tried it again later in the evening. I love that you can just divide everyone into 2 teams and everyone can play.

One of my favorite things about this game is there is no "max" amount of players nor does it matter if teams are even! This makes it perfect to play in almost any environment. The subjects are fun and promote a lot of creativity to think of words to get yourself around the board

Our group really liked this game! We liked the video directions- it made set up and game play easy to jump into. We loved how easy the concept was, but how challenging some categories proved to be! Our main complaint is that a larger timer would be easier to see in the middle of all the shouting chaos!

It is a neat idea, and my family did have a fun time playing. However my 9 year old had a little bit of a hard time because a good amount the categories are not easy for her to think of words for. I think the age range on the game may be a bit off. My husband and I took turns being on her team so she could learn and get into it. It is rapidly expanding her vocabulary though, so we are using it as a learning tool as well as a game.

We played this for the first time late at night. We were getting confused with the instructions. Once we started playing it was a lot of fun. Definitely recommend for people who like word games.

Loved that this appeals to a large group and a wide variety of ages. I really liked that you weren't stuck with one category or letter so it made it more customizable depending on who you played with. Scoring was a bit hard for the younger kids to do by themselves.

We played this at our recent Ladies Game Night. Was a lot of fun. Easy to learn and we were all yelling out words like crazy. Even lapped more than 2 times a few rounds. Will definitely play again. One improvement suggestion: we didn't really see how the points "chips" were used. So we just made it simple and gave out the black or white chips to the team that won each round. The

I really like the concept of this game, but the actual gameplay was a little disappointing. There were too many moving parts that made it a bit hard to keep up with and honestly, to have the patience to get the hang of. My 8 year old was frustrated with the concept and felt kinda discouraged. I do love games where you have to think of words fast, however, this is just not my favorite.

I don't know how I got this I did not order this game I want my money back
