Love the igrill convenience, not as happy witWeber

DJordan April 8, 2025

I like the convenience of the igrill and it's connection to my phone. The Weber phone app needs some work. It doesn't automatically connect to the igrill and I only seem to be able to view 1 probe.

Great little assistant

Craig Job November 9, 2024

While I've been barbecuing for many years and pride myself in the perfect steak or roast these make it easy to keep an eye on the progress of your bbq. It's great as you can leave the lid closed maintaining temperature and you can utilise the Weber app if you're distracted.

Useful

One probe came with the BBQ and I purchased another one. Definitely worthile, can put one in the steak and another in a sausage or chicken.

Probes work perfectly

Skip7 January 22, 2026

As a long time grill "expert" I have found the meats to be more perfectly cooked when using the probes. Imagine that!

Love the Product but wish they didn't fail

Dave the BBQer July 11, 2020

I love the product however I have lurched two probes recently to replace 2 probes that failed that were less than 12 months old. They are used at a normal rate for a family home and so I dont think they should fail so quickly

Extremely misleading

Becca4567 December 28, 2020

I bought this as a Christmas present thinking I'd be able to monitor the temp on my meat! Perhaps by connecting to my iPhone through an app or something! But alas not until I googled it, saw similar reviews etc did I realise it was useless without the expensive attachment A tad disappointed guys! I'd definitely be looking at repackaging these and at least putting some instructions on the back so it's obvious it's a spare part!

Can't go the distance

Big smoky December 12, 2024

I bought this to go with my Weber smoke fire and it work grate when they are new but I'm on my 5th one now in 18 months . They start off well and then the temperature starts to vary and just keeps getting worst to the point they become useless I went back to my ink bird which I had before buying the Weber smoker over 3 years old still on the same probes Love the Weber smoke fire very disappointed in the probes

Badly labelled

Needtoreturn November 16, 2020

Thought I could use this product to check temperature of roast, without lifting lid and letting heat out, as it had a cable. Only through google, did I find that you need expensive accessory to display temp.

Misleading and Useless

Disappointed Kevin Sorbo July 16, 2024

I guess I'll join many others who bought this simply to use to gauge the temperature while cooking. Based on how almost all of the reviews here I'm guessing this is done intentionally to boost sales. What a joke. I'll make sure to avoid buying anything Weber in the future

Rubbish thermometer

Vander April 19, 2023

I was cooking steak following the recipe and instructions in the Weber app for medium rare. When the app said to turn the steak in 30 seconds, I walked over to the BBQ in readiness to do so. In the following 10 seconds the app said remove the steak in 30 seconds, to remove the steak now, and showed the temperature spiralling up. The thermometer was on fire and was destroyed. A small flare up appeared to be the cause of this. What is worse, is I have emailed Weber about a warranty claim and they have not responded in about a week so far. Surely a bbq thermometer can withstand a flare up? Surely Weber can answer a simple email?
