Weber Spirit II E-310 Gas Grill - Black

I've been grilling on Webers since 1985 when I got my first 18" coal bbq. I had that one (seriously) for more than 30 years, and replaced it with a 22" coal grill with the rotisserie insert. We moved to Hawaii and I had to get a gas grill for the lanai. I chose the Spirit II E-310 over a larger unit because it does everything I need it to do and can still be moved easily to make use of our limited space. I just got a rotisserie attachment, and inaugurated it with a whole chicken that turned out fabulously. It heats up quickly, cooks everything evenly and well, and cleans up easily. Couldn't be happier with this gas grill.

Bought this as a new addition to our new home. We gave our last Weber grill (17years old) to my daughter and it's still performing like the first day we got it. The new grill was easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow, no missing or damaged parts and all parts fit precisely together. This grill heats up fast and the cooking surface heat was uniformly even. We were able to 6 steaks without having to move them around. The construction seems to be just as durable as our old Weber. These grills may seem pricey to some people but if you take care of it, it will last longer than replacing cheaper grills 2 or 3 times.

I have wanted this grill for 3 years. I sometimes would go to Home Depot just to look at at but I couldn't afford it. But my mother in law surprised me with a Home Depot gift card as a graduation and there was no hesitation what I wanted to get. Funny thing is that my daughter wanted to put it together so we went from store to store until we could find one still in the box. She is 8 years old but she did it in 3hrs. Armed with my new grill and my little engineer we set out to conquer what was left of the summer and grill away our fears and concerns and just enjoy food the way it was meant to be. This grill did not disappoint! I absolutely love it!

I am highly impressed with the cooking quality of this grill. I love that it is a relatively no-frills model, focused primarily on creating even heat across the working surface. Personally I prefer cast iron grates vs. Stainless, so this model was perfect for me in many ways. I will say the steel frame components seem a little thin and flimsy when unpacking, but came together well and appear to be sturdier than expected. The firebox is excellent quality, and well thought out for easy cleaning. I have previously spent less money on competitor models claiming to be "commercial grade" and they all were rusted through in less than 5 years. I decided to do my research this time, and everything I found pointed to this model as high quality and value. So far, I agree completely and look forward to many years of grilling happiness with it!

Great grill. Does as you would expect and will last for years and years. I just want to give a little advise for the ivory owners. Of course it's white and am expecting it to develop a nice patina to it. But do your self a favor and buy a magic eraser sponge. Wipe it down and looks brand NEW. Takes all “smoke stains” off. I'm sure over time the grease and smoke will fill those tiny gaps and it will end.

From the moment I started assembling this grill I could tell the design and build quality were superior to the cheaper grills I'd previously had. Assembly was easy, the instructions are well written, and the parts all fit together perfectly. Firing it up, I've been impressed with how efficient the burners are. It's been warming up in about 5 minutes, when my previous grill needed 10. The vaporizer bars do a very good job of minimizing flare-ups. The heat adjustment for the burners works well when I don't want high heat, and it works well for both direct and indirect cooking. I also like that the warming rack just drops in and can easily be removed for larger cuts of meat.

Our old Genesis silver lasted us almost 20 years. We decided to stay with a similar model for our new Weber. Quality is not there compared to the old Weber. Though we do enjoy the new grill it is almost impossible to move around - and yes - we did assemble it correctly! Why didn't you put a handle on it - instead of the flimsy shelves??? Also the new cover is no where near the quality of our old one. We'll stay with Weber as long as we continue to grill - but it's not the grill it was 15-20 years ago.

Purchased this around July 4th, 2019. It's currently mid August. The grill's dials and igniter work well (although I can foresee the rubber around the igniter disintegrating over time). The grill's wheels are attached with pins and plastic covers (one of which continuously falls off on the back wheel). The grilling grate seems sturdy but that is the only part of the grill that feels that way. The is no good way to move the grill despite the wheels and a previous responded recommendation by Weber to "recommend standing on the left side of the grill with the table in the up position and fully engaged. Then, lift the table straight up with both hands and you can move the grill like a wheelbarrow." The table is quite flimsy and flexes when I do this (quite alarming) and doesn't always catch well in the "fully engaged position"- the result is the table disengages and the grill falls back to the ground. To much of this over time will make the table unusable/unreliable. I checked out the larger, more expensive Weber's at the store this week. While some of them appear a little sturdier, they are not durable/solid like our older Weber grills. We have had many Weber grills in our 50 some years; 2 sizes of charcoal kettle (have never needed replacing - we take very good care of our stuff), a pellet smoker, and gas grills (we grill several time weekly throughout the year, this is our 3rd Weber gas grill). With the kids grown we chose a smaller gas grill as we never use the gas grill for entertaining, just for ourselves - meat and lots of vegetables. I am very disappointed, will look closer at our future purchases, investigating other brands

I have been a Weber user for over 40+ years and this is the absolute worst purchase ive ever made! Ive had the grill for about a month and i still cant use it. The box was intact and looked good, but everything inside was a disaster. The leg was bent and twisted. The igniter button was broken. One of the manifold knob shafts were bent to a 45 degree angle and the warming rack does not fit. Weber has been working with me to replace damaged parts. Ive been told twice now that the manifold will ship on a date. Still hasnt shipped. The igniter switch and leg was delivered and have been installed. The replacement warming rack was delivered yesterday and this one doesn't fit either. Now im wondering if i have the wrong bottom tub for the grill...

We've enjoyed Weber grills for over 20 years until we purchased this one in 2018. The tray below the burners that catches all the marinade and food particles and it doesn't fall to the tiny tray below so the grill goes on fire often and had to be taken apart and cleaned. The tiny tray that slides out gets caught all the time and it doesn't hold a disposable tray very well. The food doesn't burn off inside the large box like tray and there's always an odor. This grill is lighter than most of the other Weber grills and blows over when it's windy. All of the knobs busted off when it fell over. The Weber cover that fits this grill doesn't fit well. The Velcro spots don't fasten well and the cover constantly blows off. Here's the real catch why I hate this grill so much. When it's uncovered and it rains, the grill leaks. Water seeps into the large tray draining all the guck inside the grill onto our patio cement so I'm always freaked about keeping the grill clean inside and covered. Do not buy this grill
