The Weider Contoured weightlifting belt has been a life saver for my husband who loves to work out but has a few back problems. He likes this belt much more than the standard old leather belts which can be very constricting and uncomfortable. The belt seems sturdy and well made, while also being very light weight, which is a nice change from the old style belts. This is a heavy duty lifting belt, and is made from high quality foam which gives you the powerful core and back support that you need for power lifting, and has a contoured shape in the back so you can comfortably do your squats, dead lifts, etc. without being super constricted by the straight shape of other belts, as well as helping to correct your posture for a more efficient work out. My husband also likes to wear this for support while out working in the yard, that's how comfortable this belt is. The belt has a double chrome buckle and velcro so that you can easily adjust for a perfect fit. We received the L/XL which fits waists between 34 and 48 inches, which fits my husband perfectly, but this belt is built for weight lifters of all sizes and also comes in a S/M which I believe fits from 24 to 34 inch waists.
This Weider Contoured Weight Lifting Belt works really well. The way this is made and the way it feels is very impressive. I used this several times and I am very pleased with it. This is lightweight yet sturdy and really does the job. I would recommend this to anyone who is wanting support for weightlifting you will be very pleased.
Weider Contoured Weight Belt L/XL I just received the Weider Contoured Belt in size L/XL. The weight belt is for waist sizes 34"-48". I tried it on and it was comfortable. It easily adjusted to my waist size. It provided adequate support while lifting. It also helps you use the proper form when lifting. I had several members of my household try it on and test it out. Everyone agreed it was comfortable and the material was soft. The belt fits snug and feels supportive.
This belt offers great lumbar support whether you are weightlifting, doing lunges, or squats. It's velcro so you can adjust it to fit perfectly. The inside is super soft so it doesn't make your shirt bunch up or irritate your skin. My favorite thing about it is it helps with your posture. I do not lift really heavy weights, but I find the belt most beneficial in keeping my posture straight while doing squats and lunges. It's amazing to see and feel the difference with the belt versus without. I got the s/m and it fits perfect.
Weider Contoured Lifting Belt, S/M Nicely packed and shipped fast. Provides full broad back support for doing deadlifts, over head lifting, bench press providing full stability. Design on front allows to fit well and provide room to bend and move around.
I only do small weights, but posture is very important. I hadn't tried any of these lifting belts until this one and boy does it help to keep proper posture. I didn't realise until I tried this support belt that I may have been doing my exercises wrong. I can feel the change/benefits with it and will continue to use it for support.
This belt is way better than my last belt, which was leather. After a few days of hard lifting workouts, it was apparent to me that the belt is very sturdy and well made. The stitching is high quality. I looked over the belt to see if there were any loose stitching and I could not find any. The stitching is strong and tight. The belt is very comfortable to wear during my workouts. It ranks way above my old leather belt by the fact that it provides maximum support to my back and abdominal muscles. The velcro option on the belt is an extra plus for me because I can adjust it easily to the size I need and it does not dig into or pinch my skin!
This is my first weight belt. I've been thinking about getting one for a while. I've been working out for a couple of years now and now I'm definitely in a toning and maintaining state. I used this belt when I did workouts like 21 days for extreme muscle building days and when I use my barbell and I like it so far. The support is great. It helps me position my body better in exercising where my back is supposed to be absolutely flat. If I move out of position slightly this is there to remind me to go back to the proper position. This isn't uncomfortable for me and the material does rub or anything. I have the small and I'm a size 9 however I just wish it had the capability to go abit smaller. Maybe if they have an Xs, might help me more.
This weight belt is a very good belt. It is easy to apply and adjust. The velcro extender gives even a more "robust" waist and enough room to loosen or tighten. The back bracing was comfortable in every respect along with support even with intense routines. The one thing we found not too our liking was the buckling in the front. This seemed to be annoying to painful when squatting for lifts, if you have any kind of belly. As far as holding tight for the hernia areas, this foes a fantastic job.
I tried this belt on just to see how it fit and the sizing seems just about right. It has a wide range of adjustment and I suspect it would work even for someone with a smaller waist. The fit is comfortable but I thought it was a little stiff in the back. Yes, I know it needs to provide support but that was just my response to the fit and feel of the belt. Fit and finish is very good and looks and feels like a quality product. I would recommend this to a friend.
