Weider Olympic Curl Bar with Partially-Knurled Grip and 310 lb. Maximum Load Weight

This is a great overall curl bar especially for the price. The curvature is pretty aggressive which I prefer as it keeps my wrists at 45 degrees. Depending on your preference, this may be a bit extreme but for me it reduces wrist pain versus straight bars. The bar will NOT fit standard plates so keep that in mind) as it uses olympic sized plates only. The build and finish quality are great. No burrs or sharp edges that I could tell. The knurling is good too but if you use gloves, it won't matter too much. The only thing I would replace are the clips as they are your basic clamp type and don't always push up against the plates which can lead to a noisy workout. Also, the black plastic end caps can come loose but not a big deal.

Concerned with the delivery and packaging ... not sure if it left the Walmart warehouse like this or was a "fix" by FedEx - end of box missing and wrapped with plastic and tape - other end of box taped together. However, after unwrapping, appears all is good and no missing parts. Bar looks well made and should withstand our non-Olympian workouts

an't complain. Great beginner curl bar for the price. Came intact, well packed - has room for enough plates for most people.

Nice product, well made. Weighs about 12lbs. Great for my 12 year old son and I both. The angle is just right.

Can't beat the price and quality seems pretty good, just the part where the weights go on makes metal on metal noise pretty easy. I ordered a set of 35 lb. weights to use with the bar on the same day but those have been delayed so I'm sitting here with a bar and no weights to try it out!!

The clips are OK; I would recommend replacing them with more secure clamps. The plastic endcap on the bar has popped off several times and I've had to glue it back on. The chrome on the bar has flaked off in a few spots, I thought this was going to be a solid bar, but its not. The spring clips that have "Weider" printed on them look lousy. They do not look like the solid white lettering as shown in the picture. There are several blotches in the lettering. It does the job.

The bar is great but had to take some sand paper to the knurled due to a few sharp spots that cut my hand when I first picked it up.

Arrived broken. The ends are not well made. There is a thin metal plate that is spot welded on the inside that the bolt goes through to hold the end on. The spot welds were broken off on one end leaving the end to fall off. better bars are not made this way.

This item was broken at the welds, clearly a return that was not thoroughly expected. Cheap item but at least expected it to be in one piece. Poor service as well.

The weld was broke upon arrival. It was had been good for what I wanted for but can't use because one end slide and because injury can happen.
