This is the first product I have used to clean an induction cooktop but, it is doing exactly what the label describes (Cleans, Polishes, and Protects) it does. It is the same concept of polishing your car, apply (it only takes a little bit), let dry, wipe off/buffing using another dry paper towel. If anything spills (liquid) on the cooktop dap it up (don't 'wipe' it up) with a paper towel, then with another dry paper towel, lightly buff around the spilled area (getting some of the left on polish onto the dry paper towel) then onto the (cleaned up) spilled area for a couple of circles (like polishing your car) and the cooktop is clean and shinning! This product removed about 95% of a burnt on heat diffuser (wrong type, the one with holes in it) print that I thought was permanent but, again about 95% or greater of the burnt on print of the diffuser was removed! Yes, I fully recommend this product!
I bought a brand new super nice oven and all I can say is this stuff works awesome! I have forgotten food cooking, running over and it is great. I also use a stainless scratch pad and will take everything burnt on , etc and my oven and stove is brand new every time I mess up
I really did not believe it would work that well. It removed stains from another watery cleaner I used. Took some burnt off stains immediately. You only rub it on and immediately wipe off with a clean rag/paper towel. Only had to use a small amount. About half a squeeze of the bottle, if even that much. Took off burnt on grease from the glass door of my convection and regular ovens.
Pot of soup cooking all day left a grimy scum ring on our new cooktop. Applied the cleaner and scrubbed with a plastic brush then wiped with a paper towel. Presto - cooktop looks brand new! Will keep this cleaner close by and know my expensive cooktop will continue to look new.
I was introduced to this brand by the previous owner of my home. After finishing that bottle and being very pleased with the results, I ordered a new replacement bottle today. I do not cook a lot, so a little cream goes a long way. I pair it with a non-scratch pad. It also does not trigger my chemical sensitivities, so I am assuming it is very safe.
I've used this product for years. Since I have a small galley kitchen and have a crowd to feed. I set my flat cooktop up along with the countertop as a buffer survive. Foods spill from spoons, get dropped and get smeared. It can become an ugly mess. I clear the chunks And remove loose food. Then I follow directions using paper towels and polish off the remnants and grime. Follow by polishing w a paper towel to buff back the like new shine. I don't like frying because of drips of oil going every where. Same procedure. My old cooktop did not get blazing hot like this one does. The intense heat seems to cook the food on worse and intensifying the effort needed. I've burnt the burners and cooked the food on. But w persistent effort, I've managed to make my stove top nice again. Sometimes it takes 2 treatments. And when I have crockpot days and I am not actually cooking the surface stays shiny. It gets finger prints so I just buff with a microfiber cloth and it all looks fresh and clean. Nothing is more beautiful than a shiny black cooktop. It's hard to keep it that way. My original cooktop was Corning white cooktop. It wasn't easy to keep white. It looked burned, I don't remember having this product to clean %26 maintain it. My next one was black and white species. It was easiest to keep clean. If I need to replace this top, that's going to be my number one choice. This stuff will keep your stovetop in good shape.
I highly recommend Weiman cleaner, for cleaning your top glass on your stove. just put a little bit on your glass top, wipe it all over with a paper towel, or whatever you perfer to use, sit for a minute or two. get a wet rag and wipe off. Then a paper towel, to dry it off, for a beautiful shine. weiman cut good threw threw grease . If you have a really bad, glass top, with burnt spilled or grease. you made need to let the weiman sit longer, and may have to do it several times to remove hard built up grease.
I'm a fan of this cooktop cleaner. I think the secret to keeping a cooktop looking nice is to never cook on a dirty surface. So if I don't clean my stovetop after I cook, I clean it before I cook the next time. And this is what I use daily and sometimes twice per day. I clean it with my dish towel then use my cleaner. My stove is over three years old and looks almost new except for a couple of small scratches. I reorder this when mine gets low so I never run out. It's easy to use, is a good price, and does a good job. I spread it out with a couple of paper towels then use a microfiber to shine the stovetop.
I rated the Weiman Cooktop Cleaner and Polish Cream highly because it works exceptionally well at removing tough stains and leaving my glass cooktop streak-free and shiny. The formula is gentle yet powerful, and I appreciate that it's unscented. It makes cleaning quick and easy, restoring my cooktop to a like-new finish every time.
the lid on the bottle was not screwed on tight and leaked onto my car floor along with the oxiclean gel that the lid was not screwed on tight. neither had a protective shield on the cap of the bottle was a big mess. let walmart know. but it was never acknowledged nor did i hear from them. very disgusted. won't use the order on line and pick up in car again.
