Weleda Skin Food - 1 fl oz

I LOVE this cream! It's thick and perfect for moisturizing the heels and bottom of my feet. I probably wouldn't use it as an all-over moisturizer because of how thick it is, but this is perfect for dry hands and feet. Very pleasant scent as well--not overpowering. Wish it wasn't as expensive as it is, but honestly I believe it's worth the price.

This is the hand cream that has kept my hands from cracking. Great stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tend to get dry skin in the winter, I use various products. However, this particular intense lotion is just what I needed. The lotion is intense to say the least. It's incredibly concentrated. Just one squirt is enough that I was able to do my very dry hands, up my arms and some onto my husband. I had not expected it to be so thick. The lotion leave my skin soft, it feels moisturized but not greasy. As an artist I was afraid to let my hands greasy as it leaves spots on my paper. However this did not. The smell is pleasant, it's not quite flowery, not quite fruity, but not overpowering. Over all I am happy with the results. Even after showering my skin stayed moisturized from earlier that day using the lotion so the moisture stays in for a long while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a life long issue with very dry skin. It is a real problem, especially in the harsh winters where I live. The Skin Food Original is a perfect solution for my dry skin issues. I like to apply it as a mask before bed in the winter because it is kind of heavy and greasy. A tiny bit goes a long way!! It is almost like using a lip balm for your face as far as explaining the relief my skin gets from this. It feels very healing to cracked dry skin. I also like to use it on my hands when they get dry and cracked. I love that it has no animal testing, is free of parabens and phthalates, free of synthetic preservatives and fragrances. The only thing negative is how oily it can make your skin if you put too much or if you don't have time to let it absorb before applying makeup. I make sure I have at least 20 minutes to let it absorb if I am applying it before I apply foundations so it is not greasy or heavy. Once it absorbs, my skin feels soft and hydrated, so, the oily feeling is just the initial reaction of your skin because it has so many nutrients for your skin to absorb. Great product, my winter is much better with it! It leaves my skin looking fresh and hydrated and feeling brand new.

I appreciate the small size to carry with me to work. My hands dry out because of the constant sanitizing I must do in the classroom. It has a unique herbal scent and the formula absorbs into your skin without leaving behind a greasy residue. My skin feels so nourished and the cracks I usually get are completely gone. I've been applying it to my feet as well along my heels as they often dry out as well. I am impressed with this product, the quality, formula and ingredients.

I did not like it for use on my face. It was so thick and hard to spread I felt like I was creating wrinkles. And the scent was strong. BUT I did like it for use on my rough knees. It did a good job on them.

This cream is extremely thick and rich. I thought it would be great for my naturally dry skin. First time, I tried to use it I realized it was way to thick, it just was not spreadable. After that, I mixed a very small dot with my regular moisturizer - perfect ! It makes a definite difference keeping my face more moisturized,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream is very moisturizing and good for people with dry skin like myself. I used the Weleda Cream mainly on my elbows and feet and it really moisturized my skin. A little goes a long way, it has Rosemary, Chamomile and Pansy Extracts in it. It is paraben, fragrance, phthalate, synthetic preservative free & not tested on animals. I like this cream alot and my skin has a glow to it. If you're tired of having dry cracking skin I recommend you to get the Weleda Original Ultra-Rich Cream Skin Food.

The consistency of this just wasn't it for me. It feels like an ointment, takes forever to absorb, and smells weird.
