Shredded kibble Favorite food

carol July 26, 2022

I just received this core raw rev dog food in the turkey and chicken flavor. My pitbull refuses dog food, will go days without eating unless he can get human food. I have tried many things, cooking separately for him, using expensive raw toppers etc. etc. this is the only dog food he seems to like! He is nine years old and doesn't like hard crunchy food. He ate the entire bowl the very first day! The pieces are shredded and easy to eat exclamation point best idea anybody's had in a long time. I mixed some bone broth with it and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and the whole thing was very tender. A

I was afraid my fussy dogs would not eat it after being fed raw homemade but they both ate it first try.

Best dog food on the market! It is pricey, though.

Very happy with this product. My dog loved it and we will definitely be buying more. Very happy with all the ingredients and that it is filler free which is so important for our furry friend! Will definitely be buying more. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Core...Great, but Core RawRev...Not so great.

Chubbys Momma December 31, 2017

Our two bulldogs love Wellness Core dry kibble, until we recently tried Core RawRev a derivative we thought they would like as well. It seemed to be very palatable when we gave them their recommended servings-they ate every crumb. Years ago, was the only time our bulldogs ever threw up when their stomachs were empty toward the evenings. Since then, we have broken the Wellness Core servings to half during in the AM and the rest in the evening per our vet; it has worked great until this month with their new switch to Core RawRev. Oddly, they finished the first 75% of the bag with no problems. Towards the end, our first bulldog threw everything up. Shortly the next day or so, our second bulldog could not keep it down either. Its almost as if the food tripped a threshold somewhere near 75% when finishing the bag. We went to the store and switched back to Wellness Core; hopefully this is not related in nature to the issues Wellness had during its dog food recall earlier this year. Our bulldogs have never had a sensitive stomach like this. There is no reason for us to try this dog food again. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this since the incidents occurred to not just one, but both our pets.
