SO EASY TO USE WITH INTRICATE DETAILS. DOESN'T BOG DOWN WITH HARDER WOODS, ADJUSTABLE FOR ANY POSSIBLE ANGLE NEEDED. WHAT A DEAL FOR SUCH A REASONABLE PRICE.
Nothing did I dislike ! This is a smooth running Scroll Saw, cuts with ease ! And the price VERY AFFORDABLE ! APPRECIATE IT VERY VERY MUCH !
I love it cause I can slow it down for intricate cuts
easy to use works amazing
Got this saw as a first time scroller and was really pleased with the results. Did a lot of cutting on 3/4" oak and it did just fine. It's a little "jumpy" if you don't have it well anchored, but does fine if you do. Love the 2-direction blade feature. It really saved the day on my project as I was able to cut 22" pieces in continuous cut. I would caution not to over-tension the arm. I broke an ear off the lower blade holder, but WEN replaced it under warranty quickly and with no hassle. It's not the most convenient for using plain end blades, but for the money it's worth a little hassle. Pin end blades are a breeze.
The 2 direction blade without having to change anything other than the direction of the blade makes this saw nice for the price. It is like all WEN products i have tried though - under powered, but knowing that going into the purchase you should not be surprised by it or give a bad rating cause it is common knowledge about these products, if you take your time it cuts great with no problems at all.
great machine for beginners
Cons: 1) it's not so easy to use pinless blade, the blade often comes out and we need to stop and fix it everytime. 2) the air blower quality needs to be improved, sometimes the dust particles stays and need manual cleanup. 3) Changing the blade is not so easy, the instruction Manual is not very clear on how to change from Pinned to Pinless... finally I watched some Youtube videos to learn myself. Pros: 1) Smooth cut is very interesting. 2) if you are going to change the blade and keep using it as it is then this product is good.
i actually really liked this scroll saw, the price was great and low vibration, easy to use, the blade holder was a big reason i purchased it. (i am new to scrolling and my 1st saw had pin in only blade holders. ) BUT....after only a few short uses i had to replace the top blade holder. easy and under $10. no biggie BUT then the tension rod popped loose. Wen said they would send parts for free but i would have to take saw apart or return to walmart. so i returned it and ordered another which i didnt use even once because poor blade holders the tension rod. :( so sadly I returned it and got the bauer scroll saw from harbor frieght. I havent had the bauer long but the quality is great so far and the price is great. wait for a coupon or discount from harbor frieght if you can too. maybe get the wen, try it out if you have the same issues, return to walmart. but definitely check out the Bauer scroll saw from harbor freight!! Happy Scrolling!
This wen product very disappointing doesn't work well for a scroll saw not power Suprised Walmart would sell it
