WEN 3.5-Amp Oscillating Spindle Sander, 6510T

For too many years I struggled with my drill press trying to use it as a spindle sander. Each time I did, my home made sanding drum would vibrate itself loose and drop out of the chuck. I finally decided to purchase a spindle sander. Since I'm not a professional cabinet maker, I couldn't justify investing a ton of money on a power tool I'd only be using occasionally. So... I looked at several brands and models in the lower price range. I decided on the Wen because of the positive reviews I read about it. The noise level is low, the power level is adequate for my projects, the price was reasonable and, best of all, store pick-up was convenient and free. I'm extremely pleased with my choice . My only regret is that I didn't purchase this machine sooner.

This item was purchased for the construction of bathroom vanities and kitchen cabinets by a homeowner doing his own work. In my opinion the sander performed better then advertised and was easy to use. We used 3/4 " oak and the sander had no trouble removing material. I am so pleased with this unit that my next order will be the WEN combo disc and belt sander.

Can't beat it, great price for a solid tool.

Now I do not have to hand sand the things that i was sanding. The Oscillating Spindle Sander is one of my best purchases. Would highly recommend it.

Specialty item for woodworkers not often found at such reasonably priced and availability

This oscillating spindle sander stopped oscillating after less than 2 hrs of use. item was returned for a refund.

Before I had a chance to put a different address in for this, I hit the wrong button and now it is going to the wrong address, and I also did not know which credit card I used until I got my confirmation by email. The card that was used was maxed out. Also, there was a previous order in my cart from two weeks ago for a Karaoke System. I was fortunate to have found that and I deleted it just as I was going to place my order. I am 77 years old but still very sharp. But this ordering process leaves a little bit to be desired.
