this sander does a great job on my newly built walls... the paper stays on the whole time i did an entire room with the same sheet of paper. The backing pad is soft and flexible so be sure not to get hung up on plug outlets it can damage the pad ... make sure no screw heads are sticking up in your drywall also... it is sorta heavy when it came to sanding the ceiling and quite a bit of dust collects under the pad not getting sucked into my shop vac as well as on the walls? but the dust mess is only when i flip it over to lower it to the floor i noticed. the extension pole didnt work well for me at times the sander would come away from the ceiling from the weight and dig into the ceiling. i found it easier to stand on my plank between two ladders and get closer to the ceiling and work small areas at a time... overall im happy i bought it...

made quick work out of ceiling sanding. Relatively clean too. Too many times I've hand sanded and never again!

Want to sand my deck, but we have had rain every weeekend. Looks like it will do the job. Decent for the money

Well worth the money. Gets a little heavy doing ceilings after a while but not too bad.

Too heavy
The quality is very good, but the machine itself is too heavy. Very hard to lift it and sand the ceiling. Unfortunately, I have to return it.

good for sanding walls but no coñers and the vacuum cleaner part Sucks. know suction pick up through the neck.other than that it's alright

poor design
It's so top heavy I have to take a break every 10 mins. The dust dump every time you remove it from the ceiling. The swivel bracket is so loose(no way to tighten) it very difficult to keep it flat on the ceiling.

Complete piece of garbage
Attempted using this with a sizable shop vac (6hp with fine dust filter) and it is absolutely worthless. The suction is nowhere near capable. Dust everywhere. When I lower the unit non vacuumed dust spills out everywhere This problem happens on every speed setting. Very disappointed
