Just as good as from the restaurant

Anonymous March 1, 2026

One 15 oz. can of Wendy's Chili No Beans Canned Chili costs $4.98. The cost at the restaurant is for a large chili is $4.89/$4.99. There's really no savings buying it from Walmart. However, I can't put chili from the restaurant in my cabinet for a later time. Nor do I have to drive to get it. I already have it in my cabinet. I'm tasting it for the first time today, and I've included a pic. I decided to put sour cream and the usual hot sauce in my chili tonight. There is no doubt that this chili tastes just as good as if I went to Wendy's itself. I plan to be buying more and will no longer go to the restaurant. I highly recommend you try it!!

i do not like chili. but a couple times over the years i had Wendy's taco salad and i liked the taste.i was trying to find something to put on my chips and i saw Walmart sells Wendy's chili so i thought i would try. it is exactly what I've had at w, so i am now my 4th time buying it. very good

It tastes exactly like what the restaurant serves.

Frances April 27, 2026

This chili tastes exactly like what the restaurant serves and it is delicious. I do wish they would make a version where the meat was plant based. I have tried all the top selling store brands over the years but they all tasted similar - leaving an undesirable after taste. But this doesn't have that. It tastes like what I would make at home.

Wendy's chili with beans

Kathy March 25, 2026

This is good chili. Not exactly like the chili at Wendy's restaurant, but close. Fulfilling and hearty, I sometimes add diced onions and cheese. Wish the price was a little lower , but ,I buy it regularly because its my favorite! Plus, it's covenient.

good tasting Wendys Chili in a can at home

Tina December 14, 2025

When it is winter months it is nice to open a can of Wendys Chili heat and eat. We keep a can on the shelf for a quick and easy meal at home. I was going to have a cup tonight but it was already eaten I am going to buy some more tomorrow. The taste and texture is good and I can not keep enough here at home.

This made me change favorites!

Katie May 4, 2026

It has a slightly different taste than what I remember from Wendy's chili, but that could just be my memory. BUT it has become my favorite that I don't have to make from my own cabinet. You can get two to three servings from the can. I recommend the oyster crackers with it. They actually bring the taste out. They have made me change my favorite from one I have used for years. Try it.

I haven't seen many reviews of this canned chili!

Thomas July 29, 2024

You would think I would learn. If something as well known and loved by consumers is available in the freezer, the taste is close, but never as good as the real thing. this stuff came in a can. For what it cost, it should have been frozen. Whoever mfg this chili, there are too many changes and it tastes nothing like Wendy's Chili. Not even a little bit. The worst problem of all is the over bearing flavor of some sort of metal taste in the soup. It is terribly acidic. It was cooked very nicely, with the beans being done completely. Anyone eating Great Value, Hormel, Texas Pete, and the rest of cans of chili, kidney beans, or a few other beans not typically used, will find beans do not tenderize for some time. This is due to the bean starch being solid inside the bean peel. This can, the beans were soft with the skins semi tender. The hamburger was relative to budget ground beef, and isn' t really that bad. The CHILI part of this equation is what I paid for. The flavor of the tomato is not good at all and needs alot of work. Overall, not at all worth the price. I should have gone to Wendy's. It would have been easier, and I would have twice the amount of chili, but most importantly, I would have the flavorful stuff they sell.

Best CANNED chili that I have found so far.

USVet February 1, 2026

I voted yes when asked if I would recommend. I would like to say that I would recommend ONLY if it means canned chili. There is nothing like homemade chili and I would but the canned Wendy's chili if I wanted something fast. The canned is nothing like the chili you get at Wendy's, but is better than other canned chili that I have purchased.

Wendys Chili

Jessica August 8, 2024

I bought this Wendy's chili thinking it would taste as good as the restaurant….WRONG. Don't waste your money on this. Its gross. Even my 16 year old who is an avid lover of chili, was sadly disappointed.
