Westclox Black and Silver Fold Able Digital Travel Alarm Clock with Large LCD Display

I was amazed that even though this clock is very thin and light, the numbers are still large enough to easily read. Neat that it also shows the date and day of the week. I bought the Westclox to replace a digital travel alarm that I bought in the early 1990's that stopped working. The old one was about 6 times the size of this Westclox and was much heavier. So the Westclox will be much better for traveling (things have improved since 1990). If the Westclox lasts 25 years like my old clock, it will be a super deal. By the way, I saw the identical clock listed for higher prices at other websites, so with free pickup I really saved at WalMart.

This little clock is great for travel. It folds up so it takes up very little room in a suitcase or travel bag. Also it has 3 ways of waking you up, starts out slow, then gets louder and faster, by the time the "third" speed and sound kicks in, your awake and ready to start your day.

I ordered this recently and absolutely love it. It was very easy to set up and has a light to turn on at nite which I so appreciate. Alarm is also easy to set up and I will definitely be using this clock for years. It was a very good price too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Attractive display and backlight color. Nice to find a clock like this that is ultra light due to its use of a disc battery (much lighter than AA or even AAA batteries). I actually use it at home due to pleasant alarm sound that doesn't screech and jar wife and kids awake when it goes off. Only point to be aware of is the alarm-on indicator is somewhat small to spot but you get used to it.

These are great little clocks. They last forever. I only bought this one to replace one I left in a hotel room. I use it all the time, even at home. Easy to set and use. Much better than any of the travel clocks which require batteries.

I like these clocks as they are reasonably priced, last a long time on batteries, are convenient for home & travel. Additionally, they seem to keep acccurate time.

I use this little clock to wake me up everyday. Cellphones emit harmful waves and plug in alarm clocks have electricity next to your night stand. It is easy to program and durable. I take it when I travel.

I had an older model Westclox clock I loved, with fewer features (only the ones I needed: time and alarm), and smaller. It lasted maybe 20 years. This one on my third trip when I opened my bag upon arrival the display was totally not working. The battery worked (the night light part worked), but the display was broken not displaying any digits/segments unless squeezed, then they were random. I'm in Europe, and there aren't any Walmarts nearby to provide a replacement. I am not satisfied. If it worked, it was an ok clock, but still too big (half deck of cards) where half the height would suffice if useless display data were removed.

Was expecting it to be like the older one that I had used and loved for years. This one is difficult to open, more complicated to set and alarm hard to hear.

When I went on line looking for a clock; I was in search for a digital atomic clock. Once I received the three clocks, I realized NEITHER were Atomic Clocks. Neither had seconds available. I think Walmart need to filter their products better to avoid returns, to allow the consumers to purchase exactly what they are searching for.
