Westcott 8" Glide CarboTitanium Scissors, Straight (17443)

Great scissors, they cut through fabric smoothly and they are really sharp.

Out of the 7 different pairs of scissors I have, this one is the best and most comfortable.

These are extremely sharp! Very nice and easy to use. Thumb hole has a flexible piece inside so your thumb doesn't get hung like it does in other scissors.

They're attractive and cut nicely. I've not owned these for long, and hoping they hold up long-term. The brand is an old one with a good reputation.

These scissors can do anything. They will be in my main kitchen drawer - i.e. constantly used for everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scissors are quite nice, soft in the hands. The adjustability is a nice feature when it's needed. The obliterated reason this is a4 start and not a 5 is there was a noticeable burr on the edge that I had to removed for a clean cut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually I prefer shorter scissors with a smaller handle due to my smaller hands and grip, but the blades of the scissors are a bit too short and actually cause more fatigue on my hands that it is worth. The glide feature does make up for it as you can easily cut long, straight cuts such as wrapping paper.

THE ITEM ARRIVED BROKEN AND USED AND VERY VERY DIRTY .!

What happens when you join two heavy cutting blades with a cheap plastic hinge? You drop the scissors, the hinge breaks, and your new scissors are worthless. This pair didn't last a month.
