Scissors around here don't seem to last long. They get dull pretty fast. We use them real often and for everything! I order a lot of packages and use scissors or a knife to open them. So I order scissors in group packages and sometimes in varied sizes. These are great! Just heavy enough and just light enough. Perfect for us, for sure!
They are functional and work as expected. They are not the most sturdy or ergonomic scissors, but I knew what I was getting and I'm happy with it for the price. No complaints!
Great scissors for the price.
I like these scissors, they are sharp and perfect for cutting almost every thing I need to cut.
Quality and value as expected from Westcott
Not the best quality but great price.
Packaged well. Easy to handle and they work very well. I used one on material and another on card board and for making jewelry. Some beading thread are actually fishing string, very tough to cut. No probably with these scissors. Another set will be ordered for backup.
Upon first trial cut, the scissors appear to be sharp enough, but they are made rather cheaply. When cutting through their packaging (lightweight cardboard) the handles by-pass themselves. They don't close straight. If just using for construction paper or lighter, they will work fine.
I know these are inexpensive, and I really didn't expect much, but I was really disappointed. I have some that looks just like these, so I thought that's what I was buying. These scissors are basically junk. The rivets that hold the blades together are too loose, so when you cut something, the blades return too far. So every time you cut something, you have to put them back into position. I appreciate them trying to make scissors that are economical for those of us that don't want to pay a lot of money for them, but they do need to work. I tried to return them but I've lost the package. So I wasted my money on these, which upsets me. It wasn't a lot of money, but still it matters.
you're better off buying the Dollar Tree you'll save money if you have a Dollar Tree nearby these are a pile of junk the handles break in no time the scissors will still cut but have fun when your handle is broken too they got poor plastic made in their molds for the handles never had a problem with Dollar Tree and I think they're a pile of junk too but man they're cheaper than this I could buy more scissors for Less at the Dollar Tree that's the reason why I recommend no one buying this and I bought nine pair
