I was missing light in the back yard next to the garage. This is an excellent solution! One single head light (rather than 2 making it more of a neighbor alert) is just enough light with a 32 foot range and 130 degree angle. Simple. Lightweight. The sun charges the rechargeable battery even in cloudy conditions and seems to be durable enough to last many years.

Westinghouse Single Head Solar Security Light with Motion Sensor is easy to install. Just follow the mounting instructions and let the sunlight do the rest. The coverage is excellent, with bright floodlights and the sensors are very sensitive. There is a battery included in the system that only requires the sun for automatic recharge so there's no need to worry about battery life. It worked perfectly for our front porch especially for security camera recording.

I liked this product for the convenience of the solar source of electricity; it has pretty much good length of wire connecting the solar plate to the light; the size of the solar plate itself is good enough for longer duration of work; and the light is strong enough for the purpose. On the other hand, the connectors of the light, and the base all made up of plastic which in my opinion not strong enough to handle the weathering if we put outside. I intend to put it in the garage as extra light source and placed the solar plate outside to catch sunlight. It worked well for the purpose. I will buy again if need and recommend for family and friends.

Perfect entrance lighting. It has about a 30' light up radius. Very easy to install. The light has a plug in for the solar panel cable and enough cord so the solar panel can be installed where it gets the best sunlight. It comes with the rechargeable battery installed, just turn the light on and its ready to go.

Westinghouse Single Head Solar Security Light with Motion Sensor is great and notifies you when someone or something us near your doorway.... The light is very light. Definitely keeps the outdoor animals out of the yard. I recommend solar light with motion sensor.

This has been a great addition to my back patio where I enjoy grilling even in the winter when it gets dark so early. There was no light source there but now there is and solar as well. It is easy to install with the included screws. The light is just enough

Pros: Separated solar panel allows light to be mounted in shaded area up to 8 feet away. Rechargeable lithium battery could be replaced later if degraded. Bright LED light illumines large area. Clear instruction leaves little to imagination. Cons: Material of screws not mentioned; if not stainless steel, they could start rusting after a few weeks. Installation took about 90 minutes. Removal of light from base is easy, so it has to be mounted out of reach. First night after installation, light stayed on 7 sec. Second night, light stayed on 25 sec. Third night, 30 sec., which is the stated spec. for battery fully charged. Duration is not adjustable.

I was hoping to get a picture to post of this light mounted, but alas, the weather is NOT cooperating. What's most to love about this security light? No wiring and super easy installation! The light comes with all mounting hardware included. Love the fact that it is solar and that it is motion activated, which should keep the light staying on longer. The light itself is super bright and I need that brightness where I plan to install it. The light seems of decent quality overall. As I could not attest to the longevity of this light I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

This is a very good security light for areas where you need a bright light. It makes security easy without having to connect to a power source. It is attractive and very well made. It is encased in a lightweight plastic; which makes it easy to install. I was very impressed that the cord that attaches the light to the solar panel is very long. Usually the sunlight isn't always near where you need to place the actual light. That is not problem with this model. It charges up quickly during the day and is ready to go. The light is bright and lights up the immediate area. Also the light and solar panel have numerous positions to allow you to get the perfect positioning. The only issue I have had is that the motion detector is not as sensitive as would like it to be. However, not everyone wants the light coming on for every small toad that hops across.

yes, it's easy to install, and yes it's bright but only Stays on for maybe 5 seconds and then won't turn on again until later. Based on other reviews id say there was a quality control issue. Waste of time and money.
