This has 3 lights that are solar powered. We put it where we park and it works great. It’s nice and bright lighting up the area perfectly. I had to get close to it for it to come on. And it stayed on for about a minute after all motion left the area which is great. We really like it and is perfect where we park.
Wow, the solar light is really really bright, I was amazed. I installed it in just a few minutes. It only takes two included screws and everything else just clips together. The on/off switch has a rubber cover to keep it watertight. The motion sensor can be turned up/down, left/right in all directions. The solar panel comes with a very long wire which I didn't need. I just clipped it to the top of the light and directed it towards the sky for the sun. So I had all this extra wire and I didn't know what to do with it. LOL. There's two large clips on the back of the solar panel where you can wind the wires around and around and around. Pretty neat. Westinghouse thought of everything, it's a must buy!
Great solar light. Easy to install and set to your preferred setting. Really light up a completely darkened room like it was day. Like they are white to match the house trim. Arms swivel for maximum lighting. This is a great addition to the ones we already have. Small BUT effective
I was so worried this would not work because we have had some cloudy, foggy weather for weeks. I had one partially sunny day to set out to energize with sun before the rain. I have an almost 3k sq ft house and almost 1/3 of it is living/dining room combo open plan. Tested light after little sun and it was amazing; bright enough to light up the entire area, end to end. So bright it hurt my eyes. Instructions are easy to follow, a child could do. Now waiting for another day of sun so can install in front of house. Thinking we may get for back also instead of hardwired deck lights we have now.
Love the nice size solar panel. It is great that I can mount it anywhere . I love to be outside especially after dark in the summer when it’s pleasant temps and this light provides great ambiance. Not to mention this is great for security as we all know. This is the second light like this that I have and I’m happy to get another for a few areas of my yard. You never need to wonder where you tread.
I have a very dark driveway and needed a motion sensor light to illuminate the area near my garage! Well, wow, did this light do the trick! My husband placed it on our fence, and as soon as the motion sensor activates, there are 3 panels on the light which lights up the area needed. It was easy to install, light weight, and the 2 panels on the sides are adjustable to direct the beams! The solar panel that is on the light is large and I have it where the sun will charge it daily. The on/off switch has a plastic covering to protect it from dust, rain, and condensation. There is also a plastic covering on the solar panel, which I did not remove and it worked just fine.
This Westinghouse 2000 Lumen triple head solar security light las a motion sensor , it is very bright and easy to install, we installed it right away in the backyard it’s perfect for a yard that’s medium sized.
These lights are amazing! I take them camping and leave one on the picnic table at night. As soon as I step out of my trailer it comes on. As soon as animals walk by at night the lights come on. If some person comes by the lights come on. These are super bright. I'll leave them out to recharge during the day. If you need to, you can take the batteries out and recharge them in a recharger if there were some reason you needed to do that. I highly recommend these for the price. The unit is small and compact. The solar panel can be clipped to the unit with the light, or it can be separated and moved to where the sun is brighter for recharging. It can be unplugged completely if you need to. This is a really good light. I ended up buying four of them. They were only $15 each when I bought them.
This Westinghouse triple light isn't really large enough for hanging above my garage door. We have a standard 2 car garage attached to our home. The door itself is standard height. We put the light above the door. We angled the 3 lights in different directions. It doesn't really put out enough light. Maybe it's too high up? Our driveway is really dark and I wanted to light it up a bit. Also, sometimes when it comes on, it just "flicks on" for a few seconds, then goes off? The lights themselves are pretty small. I took a picture so you can see the light next to a ball point pen. It's shorter than the pen. It was easy to hang with the enclosed screws and anchors. You don't have to hard wire it in and spend money on an electrician. It runs on batteries charged by the sun. The batteries are replaceable, which is great! I was going to order another one for above the back slider door, but I think hanging it up so high just doesn't produce enough light. Overall, maybe for a smaller use area, this would be ok, but for above a door it's just not bright enough.
Doesn't work. It appears to be a faulty product. Really wanted to see how this works. I'll attempt to secure another item and very interested in how it works.
