A Hidden Gem
These vampire are anything, and everything, but frightening. There is nothing frightening about this movie which is a pleasant surprise. A new way of looking at the Underground Vampire culture so often times depicted in traditional vampire movies. The three main characters, except for Petyre, are personable and quite entertaining. They are simply trying to survive "everyday life" in New Zealand. A new way of looking at the secret life of a vampire. A fun . . . and funny . . . movie.

If you love vampires you will love this film. Actors are "right on" and the music is cool too. My husband and I now watch the TV series because we are happily addicted.
