Some Paint Colors Like Blacks and Grays Dry Faster than other Colors , making sure the Can of Spray Paint is well Shook and the Can is not Cold or Some times The Spray Nozzle will Get Clogged The paint works well on metal that has Rust on it but Wire Brush the surface to minimize the amount of rust
I use this for some outdoor tables. They were actually red and now they are a true navy blue.. I did have to buy a second can but only used half of it. It saved me money so I didn't have to buy new ones to match my patio set.. These are great to refresh any more furniture.. I also bought the black paint and did my wrought iron patio set.
Got the color by accident and loved it! When I realized it matched perfectly with the plant pits I just bought at Walmart, I tried it on everything! I've sprayed and covered old Walmart plastic flower pots, a wooden shelf, a metal shelf, bird houses, rusty old bird baths, and even my yard gnomes. I then took a big old plastic pot, sprayed it too and will make it into a goldfish water fountain feature. But it's heavy and needed to be up higher to keep my dog out of it. Got some concrete blocks which will also be able to store fish supplies as shelves and painted them too!!! My back yard has become my sanctuary now! It's gorgeous and I get lots of compliments.
I have used Rust-Oleum paint many times over the years with great success. It normally gives good solid coverage in 1 coat without runs and the spray mechanism allows for total emptying of the can. Nozzle stays clean and doesn’t clog. Has gotten pricey, but so have all of the others and they don’t give same results. Highly recommend
I am remodeling my home and I m doing a black and white theme, so I've used this spray paint to coat mirrors, tables, chairs and a book case. Love it!!! Tip: stand back when spraying for a more even coat. Great color, rust resistant, great for old furniture
Sand Dollar is a nice alternative to Bright White for wicker and cane furniture. This color exactly matched a thick cane chair that I bought from a nice boutique. It had damage during a flood, but this color matched exactly. White would have been too harsh. The chair now has a royal blue cushions and I'm happy. It must be a popular color because sometimes it is sold out! Rustoleum always has great coverage. The Matte finish elevates this style chair. I never put a clear coat on after, because I'm worried it might yellow. Lilly Pulitzer pillows finish the casual, coastal chic look for us. The original chair had a distressed, shabby chic finish, but I'm not there yet.
I am spray painting used wooden white lattice for yellow honeysuckle to grow up - paint has good coverage, good color, easy to use holding the can in any orientation. Had used this spray for wood supports in my garden (dark green color in full mid day thru afternoon sun and color has held up well.
I used to love this brand but they are diluting the pigment so you have to buy 2-3 times the cans for the same coverage. I sprayed one layer of black on yellow plastic until it was so thick it was running and it was still completely transparent - see pic
I really like this spray paint. My one grandkid's favorite color is purple. This is the 4th time buying this spray paint. The first time when I got home the sprayer was broken. The next one I used a few times until I broke the sprayer off trying to get the child proof cap off. So i bought another one. Broke that sprayer trying to get the cap off before I even used it. So last Christmas finished what I was doing with acrylic paint. This year I needed it again for Christmas so I had to buy yet another can. After a medical treatment, i no longer have the strength in my hands like I did. so I have a hard time getting the cap off WITHOUT breaking the sprayer. Ill have my husdand open it for me. I like that it is child proof, but wish it had a different lock on the cap instead. If it did I would easily give it 5 star rating. It has a nice color, even spray and covers nicely. I have only used this on metal. The pictures are from Last years Christmas gifts for my other grandaughter who likes blue. This is the same brand. but the blue instead of purple. I can't find my purple pictures. The glitter was added before the paint dried and then clear coated several times. They both look the same 1 year later. No fading or chips.
I ordered 4 cans of this paint and one of them was faulty. Wouldn't spray at all. But the biggest issue is that the color is NOT as shown on the can. It's a bright, Kelly green. Not a medium green with a bit of blue in it as shown.
