White, Zinsser Cover Stain Oil-Based Primer Spray-3608, 13 oz

Even though it says low VOC, the smell is horrible and you need lots of ventilation. Definitely not for inside use. I used this for unfinished kitchen cabinets. It dries way to fast and does not dry smoothly. When searched online if one can use thinner, it says it is not meant to be thinned. I made sure the temperature was correct as was the humidity. I ended up sanding off this primer. I will be returning as I only used it on two doors.

The spray paint worked well. it blocked the soot stains. the spray is enen and consistent. I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5 because, I had another person use five cans and 1.5 cans were defective in the spray can valve. I am not sure its is him or the spray can. I used dozen can and had no problems.

Too Runny and Drippy for Walls! Ruined the entire paint patching job! Despite 2 passes of light coats, it looked terrible. Like someone snotted in white paint and ran it over.

This was thick, making it easy to paint on the celling. It took 2 coats to cover the water stain i was working on but it did cover. One thing to note is that it is VERY bright, blue toned, white in color. i use white celling paint and or was much brighter.

Several coats of this brand of paint to cover some old ceiling water stains had much better coverage than other paints that I've tried in the past.

We are using this to seal up rough cut lumber and logs used in the construction of a cord wood home. This product is the best I have tried (and have tried many), after one heavy coat it completely seals in and primes extremely rough cut wood, its so smooth after one coat I can hardly believe it. Pricey but worth it.

This oil based primer was able to cover my shiny glossed cabinets and actually stick! I was able to paint my kitchen cabinets without sanding using a coat of this primer as prep. I have tried to scratch this off and cannot do it with hard pressure from finger nails. I'm hopeful it allow my paint to stand up to heavy kitchen use! Be warned- it's oil based so it's very smelly and difficult to clean up, but once it's dried, it's great!

Worked perfectly to stop the stain from bleeding through from the wood I wanted to paint. Easy to apply and dries fast
