Whitman's Sampler Christmas Assorted Milk & Dark Chocolate Gift Box, 10 oz.

it's a big box with two trays side by side. a box half that width with the two trays one top of the other makes a better gift. I am glad I opened it. this box does say sampler. I am going to use them as snacks while we watch Christmas movies. I liked the price. I might buy another box. Separate the two trays use clear color wrapping with a 🎀 ribbon and add to a gift basket.

Purchased several of these as gifts for giving to family and friends. Great assortment of chocolates with the delicious trusting standard of Whitman chocolates. The outside of the box was so pretty with the bow and bright colors, I didn't even wrap them...just placed gift tags on them. Delight in the eyes and taste buds of all gift recipients.

We buy the Whitman's chocolate sampler every Christmas, Easter and wedding anniversary. It's been a tradition in my family since WWII!!!! (Originally, it was a two layer, 1 lb. box, so I do miss all the extra chocolate, but it's probably too much of a good thing!) My FAVORITES are the chewy caramels and the nuggets. Probably my least favorite are the creams, but there's a nice variety for everyone's taste! We give these as gifts, too.

Whitman's chocolates have been around for years. I trust that I can give this as a gift and the person or family will find something they like. The Sampler has numerous variations and both dark and milk chocolate. Harder to find outside of holidays, though.

It used to be a two tier box with variety of flavors now one tier with far less inside. two of each flavor. tiny chocolate peanuts five of them. one orange filling one strawberry. peanut Roseline. not worth giving as a present.

These might have tasted fresh back in 2008😒 dry,, small, lack of variety … save your money Whitman's was the brand to have (20yrs ago) today not so much? And they ain't even trying….

the chocolate is old, it is a much lighter color like tan.

Whitman Sampler used to be premium chocolate assortment. It's been several years since we bought on and the quality has gone down hill dramatically. There used to be 40ish pieces and now it's down to 22. It's not even double layer anymore. The variety of flavors is slim and the chocolate tastes cheap.
