Wick Fowler's All Natural False Alarm Chili Mix, Mild, 2.8 oz

We've been buying this or the 2 alarm chili mixes for many years, probably 20 or more, and are so completely happy with it that we haven't even looked at other brands. We've made lots of chili over the years that received rave reviews and it's one of the few things our entire family loves. We use both cubed beef and hamburger which adds to the richness and we add beans (pinto, chili, kidney or ranch style) as we love them and the extra nutritional value and textural contrast they add, not to mention stretching it a bit. They did stop adding the salt packet but it's a simple thing to add your own or skip it if you're on low sodium.

I love wick fowler's chili kits, as they give consumers the chance to add as much (or as little) of each flavor packet they desire. I'm on a sodium-reduced diet so I skip the salt entirely and kick up the heat by using all of the hot ingredients. I especially love their 2-Alarm chili mix, though it's not meant for the faint of heat! I recommend the Mild Chili Mix for beginners and the 2-Alarm for veteran heat seekers. It cooks wonderfully in a crock pot so you don't have to stir it all the time and the flavors really blend together. I won't use any other brand for my family - they're spoiled by the Wick Fowlers!
