Fantastic modern (ish) take on Shakespeare
Baz Luhrmann's take on Romeo %26 Juliet is a visual feast, and features breakout performances by Leo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. There are also standout performances by John Leguizamo, and Harold Perrineau steals every scene he's in as Mercutio. The blu-ray is a great transfer, with rich colors and fine detail, and is highly recommended. Now where's our 4K?

I got this for my grandson who I am homeschooling. We had just finished a unit on the play. He really enjoyed the movie. He understood the play much better after watching the movie.

A little bit more of a modern twist on Romeo and Juliet but I highly recommend!!
