Great basketball overall. The Wilson Evolution has an excellent grip right out of the box and feels very consistent when shooting and dribbling. It holds up well with regular use and feels reliable while playing . Definitely worth it if you want a solid, high-quality indoor ball.

The game ball
The Spalding Evolution basketball is easily one of the best indoor balls I’ve ever played with. The first thing you notice is the feel—the microfiber composite cover is soft, grippy, and comfortable right out of the box. It doesn’t need a long break-in period like some other balls; it’s game-ready almost immediately.

This is not the Wilson Evolution- Do not Buy
This product is not the Wilson Evolution. This is a scam. Should not lie to people. Order was late and delayed multiple times. Poor quality and horrible shipping bag. Wilson evolution comes in a box to protect the material.

I am very disappointed with this basketball. I’ve been using Wilson Evolution basketballs for over 7 years, so I know exactly how they are supposed to feel. This one is abnormally hard right out of the box, with terrible grip and almost no “ball feel.” It feels nothing like a proper Wilson Evolution ball. Even after use, it remains extremely stiff, and the surface does not provide the usual soft, tacky grip. In fact, it feels worse than a $25 basketball I bought at Costco, which is unacceptable considering this cost over $80. Whether this is a quality control issue, old stock, or something else, the performance is simply not acceptable at this price point. Based on my experience, this ball does not meet the standard of genuine Wilson indoor basketballs. I would not recommend this product and regret this purchase. The photos I shared were taken after one week of use in an indoor gym. It says everything.

Counterfeit basketball not a real evolution
Ball came in shrink wrap and no package. If you’ve ever bought one of these in store you know it has a cardboard package and no shrink wrap. The actual ball is not an authentic evolution basketball. The cover feels wrong like an indoor/outdoor 30 dollar ball. The lettering isn’t even correct (all black vs gold lined on a real evolution) save yourself the hassle and don’t trust Walmart online. It’s not even Walmart supplying the product.

Fake product!
It's fake wilson evolution basketball. Check the pictures. The top (darker) one is from this seller, and the bottom (lighter color with blue logo) one is what I bought from Amazon Wilson.

Disappointing
The ball came deflated and stapled to the cardboard. When we blew it up, it had a hole and deflated. Very disappointed.
