5 out of 5 Stars: Incredible Time-Saver for Birthday Cakes! I am so happy with these pre-rolled fondant sheets! Kneading and coloring fondant from scratch is always the most exhausting part of cake decorating, so having the colors already perfectly mixed and ready to go saves so much time and effort. The pack comes with four sheets, which is the exact amount you need to comfortably cover a single standard-sized cake with plenty left over for fun cut-outs and details. The texture is great—pliable, easy to work with, and smooths out beautifully over buttercream without tearing easily. Just keep in mind that if you are planning to decorate a larger three-tier cake, you will definitely need to buy more than one pack to cover all the layers! It made our recent celebration baking project so much faster and stress-free. I will absolutely be buying these again for our next family party. Highly recommend!
Perfect for creating whatever fondant design you may need. The box comes with four packs (4.3oz each) and labeled with the color. Great product for your cake creations. The premixed colors are always much brighter than you can achieve on your own by coloring white fondant.
this fondant is always fresh and soft. after opening. try to leave wrapped in the foil packaging as much as possible and the wrap tight in plastic wrap or ziplock bag
Still love working with this fondant as my skills get better. The taste has gotten better. It's easier to kneed straight out the package. The color is not true, I just add white food color to it.
Used the white and blue fondant to make cookie cake decorations. The colors were spot on and the fondant was easy to work with after kneading for a few minutes.
Just a bit on the dry side. I kneaded gel colorant into the fondant and it was a bit of a chore. Came in 2 non resealable pouches not in a resealable tub. Overall a good product and I recommend it.
As a cake decorator, this use to be by go-to fondant! Over the last few months I have noticed that it has changed. It isn't white anymore, it's almost like a light grey. And it is now very tacky. Even putting more cornstarch to help with the tackiness doesn't work in my opinion. I'm not sure why they changed the formula when they made the new packaging, but I wish they would change it back.
Wilton has changed their recipe. I only buy it because it's the cheapest brand. It use to be softer and whiter. Now it's more of a cream color and is so dense. The more you kneed it you'll notice chunks of sugar in the texture
By itself this product is fine. However it is not what was advertised. Walmart advertised a kitchen activity to be done with kids. What arrived was an expensive bunch of products with no directions. It was a gift ordered for my daughter and grandson. Imagine their surprise when they received a bunch of weird groceries. Mind you, it wasn't cheap either. What a waste.
I've used Wilton fondant for over 10 years. It has always been my go to for taste, ease of use and appearance. However, I will no longer be using Wilton. The last two times I bought it the color was off and the fondant rolled out rough and looked terrible and dry. I'm not sure what they did to their recipe but it was definitely a change for the worst. I had to completely change the design on my most recent cake and just throw the fondant away. Total waste of money.
