I have been a long-time fan of Ghirardelli chocolates, so when it came to getting creative for my daughter's Harry Potter themed birthday party, I immediately reached for these Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers. They are my absolute go-to for all things dipped, and they did not disappoint! Flawless Melting %26 Coating: These wafers melt down beautifully to a perfectly smooth, silky consistency. They make dipping incredibly easy, creating a clean, even shell without any clumping or seizing. I add a tsp of coconut oil to help thin it out. Premium Taste (No Waxy Texture): Unlike many other melting chocolates on the market that can taste overly sugary or waxy, Ghirardelli has a rich, premium white chocolate flavor. For this party, I used them to coat my vanilla cake and cream cheese frosting cake balls, coated the bottom of my Rice Krispy thins, yellow oreos, and pretzels. The flavor combinations were absolutely delicious. Creative DIY Success: To fit the Harry Potter theme, I dipped the cake balls in this white chocolate, let them harden, and then dusted them with a beautiful gold color. Once they were completely dry, I inserted 3D-printed wings, and just like that, we had gorgeous "Golden Snitches"! Next up, I used the blue and green Rice Krispies for my RK thins, then spread a thin layer of chocolate on the bottom. Next, yellow Oreos were dipped in chocolate that was mixed with green food coloring. Snack Table Showstopper: They were a massive hit on the snack table! Not only did they look amazing, but they also tasted incredible. I use these wafers every single time I make my popular desserts, and they deliver perfect results every time. this was my first time using this product, and i will never use anything else! these melting wafers were perfect. they took color amazing and the instructions were easy to follow and made the process so much easier. the flow and the consistency was perfect. buy these.

This melting chocolate has such a good taste, and melts good. So good to make a fast and pretty treat for holidays or party, or any day. Great on so many things, from fruit, pretzels, marshmallows, mini peanut butter crackers. And if you want, you can tint the chocolate with gel food coloring if you want a specific color, or leave the plain white that it is, delicious .

Bought this for chocolate covered strawberries and absolutely delicious. I had never melted and dipped anything before so I don't know if it's normal how quickly it began hardening but I imagine that's pretty standard- hot chocolate melts /cold chocolate - hard, lesson learned haha worth the price

Yumm! The best melting chocolate wafers I have tried. I like to make chocolate dipped pretzel rods with these. They are also really good unmelted as a treat.

My favorite melting chocolate for cake pops. These are good if you're not doing a huge batch because it will get a little expensive but overall, it's the best quality.

Ghirardelli is always my go to for candy melts (melting wafers). It has a far superior taste to less expensive brands, is easy to work with and always produces quality results. If you are making something that is largely made up of melting wafers you will definitely notice the difference.

Comes out kind of thin and runny. I think this is perfect for strawberries, but terrible for the use I needed it for - dipping nutter butters into it to make Santa's beard and cap. It just doesn't look great. I much prefer the candy quick for the white chocolate I need for these Santa cookies, but this Ghiradelli is ok if it's all you can get. Just not impressed with the melting and the smoothness like I figured I'd be from a great name like Ghirardelli's.

wasted two different bags trying to get this worthless trash to melt to a dippable texture. It doesn't. best you get is a thick frosting consistency. Can fill molds with it but don't expect to be able to use it for dipping. I'll stick with wilton.
