Winsome Benjamin Ladder-Back Chairs, 2-PC Set, Walnut Finish

We purchased these chairs for a vacation home for our large family, used by multiple families. They are similar to the ones we had. They are very sturdy, the seats are large and comfortable. Putting them together was very simple, we put 4 together in less than an hour. There were 12 bolts with washers and 6 screws on each chair, only needing the allen wrench provided and a screwdriver.

Happy to have new kitchen chairs! Really sturdy. Even my husband says "good choice". One little bolt missing out of four chairs, but we found one in the "junk drawer". Went together easily. A few rough spots in the finish but overall very nice and you can't beat the price.

These chairs were so easy to put together, I love the quality in the color. We'll be buying more in the future.

This chair is very good quality. I bought 2 chairs at first, they are very nice, very heavy in great quality. Then I decided to buy another 2. They matched perfectly the table and did not look cheap at all. Highly recommend.

I couldn't find chairs that I liked that were easy to keep clean - I found them: the Winsome Ladderback chairs. I am glad I bought them and would recommend them to anyone. I love the free-gliding feet on the bottom of the legs: they don't collect dust bunnies like the felt ones do.

The Chairs look awesome, I really like them. However the pre-sunk parts on the legs that the bolts screw into were stripped and would not hold the bolts, I had to then go and purchase inserts and then screw the bolts in. I didn't have time to wait and contact the company and get parts shipped to me. It's just very dissappointing that it wasn't 100% ready to go?!

Great looking chair but quality control is lacking. One of the seat assemblies was assembled wrong by the manufacturer and the leg on one side was misaligned. There were two visible chips in the base of the legs, two visible punctures/lumps on the outside of one back upright, and a rough unfinished spot on the top ladder bar of one back. I'm returning for replacement hoping the new ones will have better quality control. If not, they too will be returned. Maybe Walmart should contact the manufacturer with these concerns because if this continues sales will drop with a resultant added expense for Walmart.

Pros: These chairs look really nice. They matched the table exactly, and they're sturdy and fit the table well. Do yourself a favor and get a cordless/electric screwdriver for assembly. All the hardware was present and the instructions were OK. Cons: Quality control. The first set of 2 chairs assembled without a hitch. The second set was problematic. The side and cross rails didn't fit as well as they should have, creating an issue fitting one of the legs to the seat. We had to tap the cross rails in with a hammer, since they were a little too big around. On one chair, we received three all solid pieces instead of three pre-drilled pieces. The three pre-drilled go on each side and in the front, but we had to substitute a solid piece for that. I don't think it will cause any issues, but it was a little disappointing. I'd recommend this set, but be aware of the potential issues.

The Purchase is easy with free and fast shipping, but the product fit and finish is not good. The assembly seems pretty simple at first but I am struggling and unable to put crossbars into legs, either the slot is too small or the crossbars on one side is too big. I was able to put one end of the crossbar into either side of legs but unable for the other end, and if I force it in then I think it will break... and it still ain't going in all the way. It must be the crossbars fit and finish problems, and the slot should make slightly bigger than the crossbars because you have 2 crossbars to put in on one side and it has crews to hold on it, why make it extremely tight? And the product itself is very flimsy.
