I recommend to anyone to keep this food on hand. It is easy to make and tastes good.

This food tastes great and is perfect for long term storage or to take when you need a light weight meal in your backpack that is simple to prepare!

Worth it

I have not tasted as it's being stored for emergency purposes. These are 4 serving pouches, so I have included a lightweight folding camp stove that comes with an aluminum pot so I can cook a little of the pouch at once and save the rest for the next day. There's no safe way to store leftovers so by adding a few ounces of weight, there's no waste.

So far I am happy with the Wise Company 72 Hour Emergency Food Supply, however since it is for emergencies, we haven't yet tried any of the foods. It does fit compactly on my allotted shelf and has good label information so contents are identified. I think it is important for many persons to have such a food supply, because there are so many possible emergencies where it would be really handy. We are senior citizens and even an illness in the family where the primary food preparer is disabled would mean these foods could be very important.

I honestly won't know much about the food unless we have an emergency but I thought the price was great for the amount of meals.

Each pouch has four servings that you have to cook all at once. In a true emergency situation you would not be able to save uneaten portions. Should have been individual 1 serving pouches.
