The Wix 51515 is a perfect replacement oil filter for the Ford FL-1A and the Fram PH-8A. Wix has always been a high quality oil filter for years. I use them on all my equipment also.

Ambiguous Filter Number - Got Wrong One
The appears to be two versions of the Wix 51515 hydraulic filter. Can't really comment on it since it didn't fit. This one in black has smaller threads than the white filter and did not fit the Dirty Hands log splitter for which I bought it. I'll try to return it and order the other one that reviewers have indicated fit their log splitter.
