Lucas oil is used by top racing teams and me
I use Lucas oil for my classic muscle car. Great oil for older or high performance applications.

Metallurgy was different sixty years ago
Engines were made of different material back in the good old days. Consequently, the oil of today lacks the necessary ingredients to provide adequate protection for the older metal compositions. This oil resolves that issue. I've been using this for years in my 1967 Plymouth and am very pleased with it.

Oil with zinc
This is a must have if your older engine has flat tappets and requires a zinc additive. I prefer to avoid the additive and just purchase the oil that has the zinc already in it.

Best oil for flat tapper engines
This oil has a high zinc level which will keep your hot rod running good for a long time. Well worth the price for the correct oil for older engines.

Good deal. Bad seal.
The price was the best deal in town and will probably not see that price again. When I picked up the box that was the factory box this oil comes in. It was half soaked in oil and 2 of the jugs had loose caps. I really should have not accepted them at the time. I was just happy to get such a good deal. Even with the loose caps the factory seal on each of the 2 jugs were leaking. I can see that maybe the caps were jarred loose but how the seals were broken I have no idea.
