Wizards of the Coast D&D Starter Set – Heroes of the Borderlands, Role-Playing Game Bundle, Ages 12+

Got this as a gift for my 15 yr old and was delighted by the high quality and excellent assortment of materials included in the set. The character sheets and cards were especially a great addition. Maps for every region - just fantastic and so well thought out.

Great starter set for beginners. It slim down the complication to make it more accessible for new players but still keep the core of dnd. I use it to get my friends in to dnd. Though it is a bit expensive but it contain quite a bit of content.

It shipped and arrived quickly! some of the pieces inside are cheap looking, but overall it's good quality. My kids and their friends played for 4 hours.

My grandsons loved this game - he left all his other birthday gifts untouched as they himmediately started setting up this game. Kept them occupied for hours and out of my hair.

I like all the included items. it works well for the beginner DM or beginner player. the only issue is you can't be a complete novice to playing because the character creation instructions aren't quite detailed enough.
