This is a high quality, beautiful, wooden chess and checkers game set. The size is excellent for home use and for teaching young children the rules of the game. The chess pieces are held individually in storage, so when the game box is moved there is no chance of damage. The checkers pieces are stored in a plastic bag that can be placed in the game box as well

Recommendation to the manufacturer: Make the checkers pieces such that when placing one on top of the other, the top one would not easily slide off.

My Grandson was very happy with the chess set/ checker combination. I've been told I had better practice.

I did not receive the checkers /chess set!!! What i did receive is a cheap SHUT BOX! Im upset. Had to re-order from AMAZON
