I love that these are made with ceramic blades that are so much safer to use. I have several grandchildren and worry they might accidentally pick one up if I forget to put it away. With this ceramic blade I don't have to worry the children will get hurt if they find one lying around the house. They are simple to use and are very useful for light or heavy jobs. I've even used them to cut cardboard flaps off boxes and they worked very well. I'm impressed. I will be purchasing more of these to keep on hand for later (or perhaps purchase extra replacement blades for the knives I already have).

I like these because they are a nice, handy size. I carry one in my purse and have one in my kitchen drawer, one in my medicine cabinet to open plastic covering medicine bottles and use it to slice open packages. Very convenient to have.

Bought to replace my work knife. I ove that it has a notch/hole so uou can attach to a clip or retractable reel. Small fits inside hand well. Grips on both sides for durability.

The "lock" is a nice idea, but totally useless. Tested on three different ones with same result: the blade neither stayed in the open position when "locked", and, more importantly, did *not* stay in the container when "locked" while disengaged. This had been put on a key chain until it opened while "locked" when reaching in my pocket for it and it drew blood. The "lock" is utterly useless, which makes this a rather dangerous tool to carry. Fix the lock and it would be a handy tool to have, but not as is.
