Worx WG163.8 20V PowerShare Cordless 12" Grass and Weed String Trimmer and Edger with Battery and Charger

Great weed eater light but tougher than I thought.

The Worx trimmer is light weight for me since I am a 77 years old female who uses it for my yard 0.6 acre. The directions in placing the trimmer together needs better instructions. Poorly visualized in the diagrams. Needs written instructions to forward its assembly. Utube better detail.

Light weight, easy to assemble and use and a nice price. It comes with two batteries and the charger. Batteries are fully charged in about 30-45 minutes each. Weren't charged out of the package, not an issue for me. Big plus, batteries are interchangeable with their garden tools in this series. Not as powerful as a gas powered trimmer but, is more than powerful enough for average use including cutting down thick weeds and overgrown edging. Works website offers free replacement string for life pay for shipping only. Can't beat that! Would definitely recommend this trimmer.

Will use trimer in a few hours..had no problem with assembly..the handle extension will help with my 6'5" height..this is the 6th one I have purchased over the years. The batteries will help..I have several that don't work over the years..Are lifetime spools still available?

I have used this tool for many years for my edging and trimming and highly recommend it This is my second one I bought because it was on sale and will be a backup. It is easy to use with the wheels to trim and edge plus the trim line is free. I am not a land scaper but everything looks neatly trimmed when done Easy to adjust trim to edge

it works as i expected. It is like the other on that i bought that when the head gets bad or broken it cannot be repalced, so throwaway like the last on and is far too common nowadays across much of the. consumer product offerings world wide. That said i would like to know what the trimmer line is as it seems to be better than what the hardware stores display

Had one 8 yrs ago and it died. So got a new one. Love the features. Never disappointed with Worx products

This trimmer is brand new for me so I don't have long term experience. That said, the price is a great deal and the trimmer works well so far. The only thing I don't like is how the trimmer must be reoriented in order to use it as an edger and take advantage of the wheel. A rotating shaft would be nice. Instead, there is a hinge down by the trimmer head that depends on force for adjustment. Instructions suggest that you step on the trimmer head and then fold the handle. Easier said than done because there is no leverage and the hinge friction cannot be adjusted. And I feel like I could damage the head or the guard by stepping on it.

I found the trimmer head to be a little hard for me to adjust to the proper position because I had to use my foot and bend over to adjust it. The one I saw on your web sight had a locking / unlocking bar for trimmer head adjustment and I was wanting that one. That is why I am returning the one I received. I was just afraid it would break if I put too much pressure on it. Though I have been really satisfied with the products I have purchased in the past I didn't feel this trimmer was right for me. I will be searching your web sight again to locate the one I want and will be more than happy to purchase more tools from you in the future. Thank You for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

The instructions were okay but I had to go on youtube to see how to expand handle. The part you hold onto should have an adjustment on it. I am short and have a hard time holding it. It's still too heavy for me and uncomfortable to use. It's nice it came with 2 batteries but they don't last long. I would recommend for city people not country people.
