works great. we lose piwer a lot andcregular timers time shifts when power comes bk on. ex. i have lights on ftom 7pm to 11pm. when i lose power for 3 hours when i am away the next night they are 3 hours off andcare on from 10pm till 2am. these outlets fix the time from 7-11 and piwer outtages dont matter. they are real time.
Love these outdoor plugs. Very easy to setup and I really like that the timer/schedule function does not require internet connectivity, so I can set these up in the house and then use them in outdoor locations far from the house that has very weak Wi-Fi signal.
Received my outdoor plug really fast and have been using it for a month or so now. Have some outdoor lights over my patio plugged into it. Love being able to schedule on and off times throughout the night. Great product and definitely recommend!!
This isn't my first outdoor plug, I needed a few more. I have these controlling some water features in my yard as well as a few decretive lights. They do what they are supposed to be doing and are very easy to set up.
Works flawlessly so far. I connected it to my Wi‑Fi in under two minutes, and used the app to set it to run from dusk to dawn. It transformed my old analog landscape light controller into a smart, automated dusk‑to‑dawn system—or whatever schedule I choose.”
I use this to control heat lamps in chicken coop. If one heat lamp isn't enough, I turn on another from the comfort of my home. I couldn't mount the device to the wall though. Not sure if it's because of the cheesy cheap plastic clip and the combination of the plugin length is not long enough. I had some clamps that were metal and they worked fine.
I like the ability to remotely turn on and off anything, especially with the ability to use this outdoors. One small problem I had was using it inside actually, without even turning anything on or off if it was just sitting idle on the floor nothing but a lamp plugged into it that wasn't even on. I saw a loud flash and heard a pop and I have no idea what happened because this witch still works but it seemed to have pretty scary hiccup!
I like Feit better. Using Alexa, this one lagged behind as far as turning on or off. I want everything timed together. I did like having control over the two outlets separately. Lagging is a problem
I usually love Wyze products, but it seems that this outdoor outlet was not engineered with a lot of practical experience in the real world or a lot of competitive research. Most of the other outdoor plugs I've ordered are built with a right-angle plug so the cord lies flat along the wall. This is particularly important when the outlet is plugged in inside a weatherproof protective box that goes over the outlet. With the plug sticking straight out, the weatherproof outlet cover will not close unless I bend the cord significantly, which risks damaging the cord. Other outlets, including from low-cost manufacturers like Vavofo, offer the 90-degree plug. I'd like to see Wyze redesign this product the same way, or offer it as an option.
Dont buy this if you are expecting a device that can have a scheduled setting such as sunset or sunrise. The app allowed you to adjust these but it doesn't work. I have two of these are they are a complete waste of money.
