This is my first outdoor, solar charged Wyze camera. I already had two plug-in cameras that I use indoors. This one was easy to install with the included instructions, keeps fully charged with available sunlight and works well with the Wyze app on my phone. Image quality is great (even on a foggy day). Lastly, it's great about notifying me when people— not birds or other small animals come into my yard. Great product!
Bought this to stop the glare from inside my house for my Waze cam monitoring the driveway. Works great! I didn't use the sticky strips as didn't want to have the work to remove in the future-some reviews said it can be hard to remove. I covered the backing of the stip with black electrical tape and was able to prop up my camera against the window pane-my window frame allowed this-may not work for everyone.
Great fit and adhesion to windows. Great price point and glad I bought them for both of my og wyze cams
The Wyze Window Mount simplifies indoor camera placement. Keeping cameras inside protects them from the elements, and the mount makes installation quick and easy.
I think these works best with the camera in the middle of the window to minimize any of the window being your shot only con I would say which they where reachable some how maybe like suction cup of some sort by just an idea
The perfect answer to mounting in the perfect spot. The only problem is if/when the spotlight comes on and glares against the glass, obliterating the view.
I give this a 4.5/5. It works for what it is - a rubberized window mount for the Wyze cam. It helps minimize the reflections of the white case of the camera but it doesn't help with the infrared - that might be because of the window. Some nice extras and features would be nice for the next iteration: an ability to angle the camera without increasing the reflections (what if you want to mount it high and aim low or vice versa?), a slimmer profile so I can still open my sliding window without having to remove the mount itself, and extra sticky tape so that if I do have to remove the mount, it doesn't essentially turn it into a useless paperweight.
I tried to use my cam in the windowsill but at night time it was totally unviewable with all the glares. So in hopes to be able to see at night I purchased the window mount. Let's just say I'm shocked at how well I can see everything it's just like the daytime view. Night time was totally not practical now my cam I can view 24/7 no problems absolutely amazed
Good Product, reduces glare significantly versus just sitting camera in window. I would just like it to be reusable. Once it's placed somewhere that's the only place you can put it, it won't re-stick anywhere else. Maybe a suction cup type of adhesion device would change this?
Does not work if your camera is at an angle such as mounted on a second floor looking down. You get light reflections if you try to capture the view below. It should be easily fixable if Wyze would let us remove the top portion of the camera top mount.
