This name brand blades and holders are better than the cheaper copies of these tools. I have used X-Acto brand craft tools since the 1960s when I was building my first plastic models. Now I help my 5 granddaughters with crafts and models. So this set is for them to use with me of course. As a young boy I managed to trim the tip end off a finger. My mom just threw some alcohol on and taped it up. After 60 years it looks good! Haha

One thing I've learned through five decades of crafting is that if it's not made by X-ACTO (spelled exactly like that) then it's not worth any amount of $ that you think you might be saving by falling for “exacto” or any other misleading name. X-ACTO knives are always made with the finest, quality materials, the sharpest %26 most sturdy blades, and a locking mechanism that won't jiggle loose. I am especially delighted to have found this 16-piece set that I can use for everything from paper to wood to clay to fabric… and many arts %26 craft mediums in between. I am super happy with this purchase! The price for all I received is nothing short of amazing.

Can't go wrong ever go wrong with a simple X-acto knife, but if you're really the avid crafter who cuts things all day, this would be the best choice! So many style of blades to use for any project, as well as, a variety of blade handles for the steady grip while you outline, score, splice, trim or shave anything your heart imagines!

I bought this for use in making leaf cuttings and for grafting stems together in my greenhouse. The variety of different blades is great, the box they came in is nice, and I have used them several times already effortlessly.

I have used xacto knives for years. Whether it was in the military or in the civilian world, these handy knives always serve a purpose. My one draw back with this product, is the amount of blades you get. Xacto blades will rust immediately in any type of wet environment. Although, for the price you pay, I can really complain too much.

It came in handy when replacing the battery in a car key fob. Had to separate the housing to get to the battery. Also, will come in handy for other tasks.

I haven't used this brand of Product in while although in the past it's been a great product,l really like the wooden box that it comes in.

For projects artwork.Whatever i've always relied on these. Now , with the new set , they won't even hold the blades in anymore. Now my opinion go at the different brand he's don't work anymore, They went down hill in quality, they are no longer worth the time or the dime! VERY, VERT DISAPOINTED!!!

Giving it a low rating. Not because of the product. But it was not delivered eventhough it showed as delivered.
