X-ACTO Mighty Mite Electric Pencil Sharpener, with Pencil Saver, Black, 1 Count

I love this pencil sharpener. I bought this for my prismacolor coloring pencils. Before i had a fossil of an electric sharpener and a hand one as well, but i got tired of it chunking away at my expensive pencils. It sharpens them crazy fast, and leaves the sharpest, smoothest tip ive seen on a pencil. You just plug it in and go to town. The shaving basin is small, but easy to take off. It literally just pops on and off. Its also pretty light, so beware cat owners, this baby will fly if knocked off a table lol

Highly recomended! I have owned several electric sharpeners, and none have ever performed like the old workhorse I had in the '90s... until now! This little sharpener feels a bit different because the blade is so sharp, but that makes it quiet and fast! Both my daughter and I were running 'round the house to find more pencils to sharpen--- because it was so fun!

I homeschool so we use this everyday. I've had it a few months and it's still sharpening very well. My only issues would be that one side doesn't sharpen equally and you have to turn the pencil to get the wood chiseled down properly. Also, the waste bin on the front comes off very easily. So be careful when you grab it or if it drops bc it will come off. My kids have dropped this on carpet many times and it still works very well. It's quick and efficient. Just one second will sharpen well. It's overall a great purchase for the price and am happy with this item.

It does exactly what it should—sharpens the pencil every time. If I could quibble at all, it would be nice for some adhesive or suction on the bottom to keep me from having to hold it every time I put a pencil in, but it's a small nuisance. I would buy again.

I don't have to sharpen a lot of pencils, but when I do need to sharpen one I expect a sharpener to do a great job. This one fit that requirement without spending a fortune. Easy to use, does a good job sharpening, and the price was good. I'd recommend this sharpener.

I have used home pencil sharpeners for years. The XActo is small yet powerful. I use it more than once a week and I wouldd definitely buy it againl

This is a great little pencil sharpener for your children. It's easy to use, easy to clean and compact so it won't take up space on the counter. I purchased 2 for my grandchildren (1 per household) when I bought them a few craft supplies, including colored pencils. I purchased them back in August and they are still doing a nice job of sharpening pencils. I gave it 4 stars because it's not as quick or powerful as the more expensive one Walmart carries. I have that one in my office. But this is perfectly find for Elementary aged children.

The pencil sharpener sharpens pencils, great. A major complaint is that product description indicated it is "Corded Electric". It is corded from a voltage converter to the sharpener. This means the voltage converter must be plugged into a 120 vt. electric outlet to operate the sharpener. Normally, electric pencil sharpeners remain plugged into outlets and draw no electrical energy.... see your power bill. A voltage converter draws energy, albeit a small amount, 24 hours a day, every day. Should the voltage converted overheat, a potentially big problem will result. I may sharpen a pencil once weekly. I've not yet decided but as I do not like deception, this may be returned. I want an AC powered sharpener.

sharpens very well but does not have the "pencil saving feature" advertised. It will eat through an entire pencil if you let it which is unfortunate when using expensive pencils. Have had it for just shy of a week and seemed to be struggling last night.

Ordered an electronic sharpener and it did not come with the AC adaptor at all. Disappointing experience. Not sure if Walmart to blame or Xacto. Box was easily accessible to other shoppers.
