Umbrella stand
Easy to put together, strong material so won't weather easily and will holding our Florida stormy seasons. Looks great as a stand alone with umbrella or under our patio table with umbrella

Weight matters
I like the look of this umbrella base. It is easy put together. Has three different size openings for umbrella polls. It's just not heavy enough for 10 - 12 mph winds when set on a lawn, which is where it needed to be placed. The umbrella kept blowing over to the point that we just took it down. I'm returning for a wider, heavy umbrella base but this one would work well with a 7 ft. umbrella on a flat surface.

STYROFOAM
Styrofoam stuck to the base. Really hard to remove. Even when I thought I removed it, it is still there. Plastic adapter raises up when tightening up the umbrella pole. As far as holding the umbrella it's okay.
