Yankee Candle Pink Sands Original Large Jar Scented Candles, 22 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best smelling candles from Yankee candle! Whenever I place an order, I always add this Lemon to my cart. The fragrance is just perfectly strong enough to fill my entire downstairs with the clean smell of lemons. I like to pair this with the Lemon scent cups or the Honey Clementine candle.

I am very sensitive to scents. It is hard for me to find a scent I like: Ocean AIr is one of those scents that I like. Just as the real ocean air is not overpowering, so it is just the right amount of fragrance with Ocean Air.

I bought the Yankee Candle Crème Brûlée 22 oz jar from Walmart, and it's quickly become one of my favorite candles. The scent is rich, warm, and sweet without being overpowering — it really does smell like fresh crème brûlée. The throw is strong enough to fill my living room, but still soft and calming, making it perfect for evenings when I want the house to feel cozy. The quality is exactly what I expect from Yankee Candle: clean burn, long-lasting, and a sturdy jar that looks great sitting out. For the size and how long it lasts, I feel like I got great value for the money. If you enjoy dessert-inspired scents or want something comforting and inviting, this candle is a winner.

I purchased this fragrance because I miss the ocean, where I grew up. The color is beautiful and I continue to love the original style. I use an illumina-lid, so the burn is even and flat. The only drawback is the “throw” of the fragrance. The new wax formulation doesn't seem to “fill” even my smaller rooms, where the older ones did/do. Please return to the original wax/scent oil formulation!! Those of us who've been buying for decades REALLY miss it, across all scents!! Thank you!

Fragrance doesn't smell as good when candle is going as it does when you first open take the lid off and unburned candle. Am a little disappointed with this particular candle, as I enjoy autumn style candles of apple, and pumpkins and such.

I love the scent, however, one of the three candles i ordered was shattered. It would have been better if they were delivered from my local store along with my groceries. Instead, they were delivered via FedEx. Again. Great scent, but you risk damage when out for delivery via FedEx.

This is (WAS) my favorite candle scent. I have wax melts - large and small - as well as a large candle, and have bought them over and over again in this scent, for years. For years I have loved how you could smell it across the room. It was the only one I was not only willing, but happy to spend what the large candles cost. I hate anything candy, fruit, cinnamon, or apple scented in candles or melts, yet surprisingly it WAS my ABSOLUTE favorite. Sadly, they changed it this year. I knew something was off the minute it was delivered. It’s much lighter in color AND much lighter in scent. It even smells a little different too. It went from a deep beautiful Christmas red, to a disappointing dark peach fall color. Color isn’t everything and I love fall, but it seems different in texture too - like more dense maybe? Maybe these things added to the change in scent structure and depth, because I opened it and could barely smell it. Now, we are sitting 3 feet away from this new one that has been lit for an hour, and we smell NOTHING. You can only smell it if you lean over it and are close enough to feel the heat from the flame on your face. I’m so disappointed they ruined such a wonderful thing. The loss of quality has resulted in a customer lost for good. Another thing I will no longer waste my money on. I gave 2 stars for the nostalgia.

I've bought this same scent for about 20 years-has always been my favorite scent but I've noticed the last few times I've purchased it that the scent is not strong enough anymore, so I won't be purchasing it again. In fact, I've noticed other scents that I've bought for many years aren't as fragrant either, so you must be doing something different. I'm going to start trying out other brands....I guess good things can't last forever....

I"m burning my older spice pumpkin and decided to order another one on line to keep my stock up. To my surprise the scent has changed, strength also along with the color. NOT THE SAME CANDLE for sure. Yankee Candle has gone cheep! I would have paid more and been happy rather than disappointed and not like the scent. Shame on you Yankee Candle. Someone should be demoted on that board of directors for making such a bad decision. You're losing your fan base and sales! When you have a winner why in the world would you change it?

Do not have them delivered to your house because it will arrive broken and if they arrive broken, that's basically a waste of money. Do not order a second replacement because it will also arrive broken. I would recommend just go into a Walmart store and actually get one.
