Ok here is the problem with the flag pole in my opinion. It is to long it was 4 pieces that sort of pressed together to form 1 pole. Most standard flags for the house are 28 × 40 I believe. So the pole is 4 pieces. I used 3 pieces and there is still too much pole it makes the flag look small my opinion only .I feel the pole only needs to be 35 inches to put a 28 inch flag on it. I used 3 pieces which makes the flag 45 inches you only need approximately 30 inches for the flag . Now you have 10 inches of exposed pole. That looks non correct.

It was a great looking item, in which I was looking for on the internet, but there was no description stating that it came in 4 sections and required it to be screwed together. The quality of the flagpole was thin wall aluminum. So, I would doubt that it would stand up to the elements. If purchasing one, my suggestion would be to spray foam into the cavity, or cut a ground rod to insert inside, for added strength.

Too short of a pole! Waste of money!
