American Polycotton 3' x 5' Flag with 6' 3-Section Flagpole and Eagle Ornament Set by Annin

yes, it's cheap, but you get what you pay for, so it's a real bargain. some suggestions though: plan on using a strong polyester ribbon or zip ties to attach it to the pole ( it has great grommets but the attachments are too small for the pole. and plan on hanging it high off the ground...although the flag pole is 6 ft tall the flag is 5ft across... when attached, the bottom corner touches the ground. i happened to have a metal fence post on a pathway, so I zip tied it ip high on a 6' fence post and it looks great. the eagle at the top is cheap, but you can't tell, it looks nice. ( dont expect a $79. pole and embroidered flag for $11. , but no one is going to examine in for quality... it looks great from the street!

It was great for the price but, the flag holder is made of plastic instead of metal. The clips for the flag were very difficult to put on the pole. The colors of the flag were perfect. The poles (hardware) were okay but difficult to connect. Otherwise it was good and it was made in the USA!!!

The actual flag (.Old Glory) was made somewhat Ok, not sure how it's going to hold up in the elements. The flag pole was a piece of crap..I couldnt get the ends to slide into each other like I see it was designed. Maybe something Happened during shipping

The flag is fine but one of the clips that attache the flag to the pole is missing. I tried to reach the company but they have no number, only instructions to contact the retailer. I will need to check a nearby hardware store to see what I can substitute. For that reason, I cannot rate the kit higher.

nothing should be this difficult to put together. the only form of instructions you get is the very vage instructions on the front. The poles slid together easy but it was the brackets they provide you to attach the flag to the pole. They fit so tightly it was near impossible to put them on. ot took me 30 mins to get them on. I had to use WD40 to make the pole slick which was just barely enough help to put he brackets on. (don't worry, i didn't get the flag, I didn't even have it in the area). And the bracketss themselves were sharp. As i was twisting them on, i didn't even realize they had cut me until i saw a smear of blood on the pole. They cut me twice. one on the side of my fointer finger, the other on my thumb. They are basically just deep paper cuts but I shouldn't be getting cut either way. I now see why my inlaws zip tied there's to their pole a long while ago. Next time i won't be using the brackets. The only reason for the two stars instead of one is that the pole pieces slid together easily, and the flag it's self was perfect.

VERY CHEAP APPLICATION. POLE IS WEAK, I HAD TO ACTUALLY PUT SCREWS IN IT TO HOLD IT TOGETHER. THE FASTENERS FOR THE FLAG ITSELF DO NOT FIT THE POLE. I HAD TO USE TY-RAPS AND SCREWS AS WELL. THE BASE IS CHEAP PLASTIC AND I WAS HESITANT TO MOUNT THE FLAG BASE IN IT WITH THE CHEAP SCREWS THAT COME WITH IT, SO I USED A METAL ONE THAT I HAD FROM A PREVIOUS INSTALLATION AND DISPLAY. OVERALL, THE FLAG ITSELF IS OF FINE QUALITY, JUST EVERYTHING THAT COMES WITH IT, IS JUNK.

I'm returning this flag, because the pole and attachment points are poorly made and difficult to align. I fooled around trying to adjust the attachments for almost 40 minutes until the plastic attachment snapped. Will NEVER buy this again, my first flag from this company should have taught me a lesson . Flag faded, so I thought I would try it again. What do you expect for $12? Says made in USA, the company ought to be embarrassed.

I ordered a new flag setup because my other flags mounting bracket wore out over time and it was cheaper to buy the set rather than just the pole and bracket. The flag is fine. The pole is defective. I cannot assemble it. The bent ends do not fit into the rounded ends? The hangars/clips are ridiculous-flimsy plastic with skinny open ended hooks? I can't get them on the pole-not even with a mallet. The CHEAP plastic mounting bracket hole is too shallow to hold up a pole or flag of this size. It also comes with 3 screws yet there are only 2 holes? There are no detailed assembly instructions. The cheap, discolored plastic eagle is tiny and the plug is too small for the pole-it will just fall out. I'm in my 60's. I have assembled many flags -never had a problem until now. Will return. So disappointed it says made in the USA-might have been made on US soil but I doubt American Patriots assembled it and sent out this junk. No flag for us for 4th of July!

Staff pieces are made of thin, cheaply made metal. Didn't fit together so had to crimp the opening to get the pole to fit together. Doubt this will last long. Plastic loops that attach to the flag don't fit over the staff. Most likely, the staff/pole will bend with the first high wind. Bought this for a family member who had to replace her current flag. She didn't want to spend much but this is def not worth $10. You get what you pay for. At least it's made in America.

The flag itself has some vibrant colors, it's a 70-30 poly cotton mix. how long it'll last? I don't know. the pole that it came with is an absolute piece of garbage. it's aluminum and they give you zip ties to zip the grommets of the flag to the pole. the attachment to insert the pole is made out of cheap plastic, how long that will last? I don't know and I don't think it will last long at all. I really wish I read the reviews before purchasing this flag, I bought one like this several years ago from Walmart and the quality was so much better and it was probably even a little bit less money back then. I do realize that this is not an expensive flag with pole, but it's total garbage. buyer beware! I have a feeling I will be purchasing a new flag and pole in the near future and it definitely will not be this one LOL ! waste of money
