American Polycotton 3 x 5 Flag with 6' 3-Section Flagpole and Eagle Ornament Set by Annin

My old Annin flag was tearing up so I needed a new one. I saw this one on Walmart.com and it was a match to my old one. The 3'x5' PolyCotton flag is great. Built strong and has vibrant colors. However, Annin went el cheapo on the flag mounting in this package. They only provided 2 grey zip ties to attach the flag to the pole. What was Annin thinking??? It's quite obvious that would NOT hold well, and how in the world would 2 zip ties prevent the flag from sliding down the pole??? Anyhow I didn't have to try to hook it up that way and find out as I had my old flag pole which came with a thin rope halyard for attaching the flag. So I used that. However, my old one had an attachment point on the plastic eagle ornament and the new one doesn't have that since it's not coming with a rope halyard at all… So I had to attach it by tying it to the underside of the eagle ornament and push it into the top of the pole. I didn't need the white plastic mounting bracket as I had my old one mounted to my porch beam and that one is metal. I'm sure the plastic one would suffice though. So the flag is great. The 3-piece pole is strong. The plastic mounting hardware is sufficient. The 2 zip ties SUCK!

It was great for the price but, the flag holder is made of plastic instead of metal. The clips for the flag were very difficult to put on the pole. The colors of the flag were perfect. The poles (hardware) were okay but difficult to connect. Otherwise it was good and it was made in the USA!!!

The actual flag (.Old Glory) was made somewhat Ok, not sure how it's going to hold up in the elements. The flag pole was a piece of crap..I couldnt get the ends to slide into each other like I see it was designed. Maybe something Happened during shipping

The zip ties to hold the flag on the skinny pole do not work, they slip too easily. I have to climb the ladder to keep fixing the flag back in place. The overall product is a little flimsy, but the flag isn't too bad. I was grateful that it was available for 4th of July, because I had to get it at the last minute, so that was good!!

The flag is a printed poly cotton with beautiful colors. The flag pole and flag attachments clips are terrible. The clips don't fit on the pole, so I had to zip tie the flag to the pole, which doesn't look good. The three pole pieces are supposed to have indentations on one end to allow putting them together, but they were misshapen and didn't fit. I had to use pliers to create the right shape, and that's sharp metal to be handling. The flag pole is already showing a slight bend after installing it outside, like it may not support the flag's weight for long.

It comes with just two zip ties, there are NO clips like in the item picture. No matter how tight one makes the zip ties, the flag just slides down the pole. There is not even a loop in the eagle topper to loop another zip tie. It also comes with a wonderful toxic odor, so be sure not to open it inside. Really hit me in the heart when I set this up, realizing how little thought went into the 2 zip tie design.

I had ordered this and they said it was unavailable but when I checked at the store after receiving the email that it wasn't available and there were like 8 of them which I purchased apparently someone didn't take 2 minutes to look for it,very poor service

The flag itself has some vibrant colors, it's a 70-30 poly cotton mix. how long it'll last? I don't know. the pole that it came with is an absolute piece of garbage. it's aluminum and they give you zip ties to zip the grommets of the flag to the pole. the attachment to insert the pole is made out of cheap plastic, how long that will last? I don't know and I don't think it will last long at all. I really wish I read the reviews before purchasing this flag, I bought one like this several years ago from Walmart and the quality was so much better and it was probably even a little bit less money back then. I do realize that this is not an expensive flag with pole, but it's total garbage. buyer beware! I have a feeling I will be purchasing a new flag and pole in the near future and it definitely will not be this one LOL ! waste of money

My flag and pole “kit” arrived with no suitable means of attaching the flag to the pole. Obviously I expected there would be something in the package to make hanging the flag an actual possibility. One star only because the flag alone is nice, but the ability to hang it would be even nicer! BTW I don't think one plastic tie wrap counts as “component pieces” as stated on the wrapping of this kit. Very disappointed!

Staff pieces are made of thin, cheaply made metal. Didn't fit together so had to crimp the opening to get the pole to fit together. Doubt this will last long. Plastic loops that attach to the flag don't fit over the staff. Most likely, the staff/pole will bend with the first high wind. Bought this for a family member who had to replace her current flag. She didn't want to spend much but this is def not worth $10. You get what you pay for. At least it's made in America.
